2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

And you also have some, and this may rub some the wrong way, that order multiple vehicles from different dealers knowing that they will only take delivery of one order. I will get off my soapbox now. :alien:
Na Ryan it's all good your truck is stuck in purgatory and your only a short driveway. Which really bites in my opinion I'm sorry that you have to wait longer. For me I only ordered 1 truck and I will wait as long as it takes. I'm not in a big hurry. I hope everyone else who's been waiting for ever gets their orders in soon.

I actually needed a new truck this year. It was great owning a truck that I wasn't making payments on but it was going on 10 years old and up here trucks take a beating. I couldn't risk having it break in the middle of winter and not be able to plow my private road. My delivery date has been pushed to the right 5 times now and my dealership and Ford both led be to believe my truck was going to show up on the June 5 so I sold the Chevy. I was actually worried my truck would show up and I would have to wait a few days for a check to clear. I thought maybe I waited too long to get rid of my truck. I'm not complaining, but I am getting irritated. I guess I don't understand why a dealership can't know what's going to be on the delivery truck everyday. At least the weather has been crappy and not having a truck isn't costing me days on the water yet. Had I known Monday I was going to go at least another week and a half with out the new truck showing up I would have held on to mine a little longer.

I needed to upgrade to a bigger truck to tow a 5er with. My 08 Ranger just isn't built to tow it's own weight. It's still a great truck with just 96k miles and no body damage. Should get a decent trade for it at my dealership. Plus I am also using the x plan for the 23 once it finally shows up but we'll see how things go.

Similar situation here. I wanted a heavier truck for the summer to pull a toy hauler RV. But with a no show on the truck I have canceled my plans of the trailer purchase. I have the impression that my truck order will not be built this year. Ordered 10/28, Job 1, Lariat Tremor F350 7.3.

Wow I hope you get a build date soon. It sucks that all you folks that ordered way back when the order banks opened are still waiting for production. They are starting to schedule for the weeks of the 16th and 27th I hope you are one of them.

Its all good, at least I know my truck is located in Kent. It will get to the dealer when it gets there. I did have the dealer order a dashcam a couple of days ago so hopefully they both arrive around the same time and it get installed when I go to pick it up. Now I just gotta think if there is anything I can use my FordPass points on once they get credited.

That would be cool

I hope the carriers start moving the trucks so all of you can get your trucks. I have not received an email from Ford but my tracker updated yesterday (6/08) and is still showing expected delivery on the first week of July. I went ahead and paid off my 21 so the title can be sent to me before the 23 arrives. I am trading in the 21. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I do know how some of you feel about waiting. When I ordered my 21 the dealer said about 3-4 weeks. The tracker showed scheduled, then in production, so I sold my car and my GMC thinking it would only be a couple of weeks. Ha! That is when we found out about purgatory and I had to wait 5 months for the 21 to be delivered. That is a long time to be without a vehicle.

Let's put our heads together and figure out what we did to piss the Ford car carrier drivers off.

Do you know when your truck got to the giant parking lot of failed hopes and dreams?
Mine has been at the rail yard since 5/16. First estimated delivery by Ford chat was 5/24. I’ve heard stories of trucks sitting in purgatory for longer than mine. I just didn’t want to be one of those stories.

As much as it sucks waiting for the delivery... I'd pay to be in your shoes with my Platinum Tremor. With every week being a disappointment, I'd imagine I'm going to roll over to a 24... 😢 I'm hoping I'm wrong but...

Hopefully, one of our members here is getting a truck soon! 5 trucks heading north on Hwy 41/45 out of Milwaukee, WI. Sorry for the blurry pics, I was driving like a pissed off teenager cuz I got a flat and am late for work. Lol

Sadly, they all look like FX4s and not Tremors, so someone is going to get good news, but probably not anyone on this site. Still though, great to see them moving trucks to dealerships so those who have been waiting weeks to get theirs can finally take delivery.

Frankly, I think more people need to be on more soap boxes so it creates enough noise to actually get someone at Ford's attention to where they feel compelled to respond. Sadly, we're the .0001% of customers and likely no more than a rounding error on their balance sheet so this is more cathartic than anything else. .

On one hand people ordering trucks at multiple dealerships or placing orders just in case they decide to take delivery feel really wrong to me and something Ford should address. On the other hand, when you think about the allocation system that Ford has in place, it comes out of the dealer's allocation, so whether it is a retail order or a stock order that the dealer gets built, does it matter the source? The dealer will still have inventory to sell if the retail order doesn't take delivery and it effectively becomes dealer stock.

The only way I see to fix this issue is for Ford to prioritize retail orders or dealer stock and implement a process that either prevents people from placing multiple orders at multiple dealerships and automatically moving those that need to order / place orders for multiple vehicles to some sort of commercial / fleet ordering program where there should be a lot more skin in the game (so they don't abandon orders or have a significant penalty for doing so). Something like making the customer commit a 10% deposit of agreed upon price and if the customer doesn't take delivery, then the dealer keeps the money and can still sell for MSRP. This would significantly improve the efficiency of the system and increase customer satisfaction as allocation is better applied to meet demand.

The other practice Ford needs to crack down on is dealers taking new vehicles and selling them as used in order to take advantage of market conditions to set prices way above MSRP and avoid conflict with the factory for dealer mark-ups on new vehicle pricing. I've heard this is happening with the F-150 Lightening trucks where Ford has already tried to deal with dealers marking-up over MSRP on new trucks.

Has anyone else seen the news that a train has derailed in Arizona and wrecked a bunch of trucks. A photo online shows a super duty unside down with a railcar on top of it.

Dammit I just checked the tracker. My truck delivery slid to the right again! Now showing 06/09/2023 - 06/18/2023. Original date showed a May 29 delivery.
When I picked up my truck at Casco Bay, I asked why this situation would happen. They told me, it is a bunch of third party people who drive from the rail yards to the dealerships and there is no rhyme of reason the trucks they pick up. It sounds like it is a Last In First Out situation to me. I feel for you man. I hope yours shows up sooner than expected (mine did). Have you check with Ford Chat? I had better luck getting more detailed info from them.

Edit: Saw that its at the dealership! That is Awesome!

This is the train that runs to San Bernardino and San Diego. The one mine came in on. Ford must have a crystal ball. This is what they told me happened to mine back in March but was all just bad information. https://www.fordtremor.com/threads/winner-first-for-the-2023s.14507/#post-293756

Anyone in So Cal with a truck in transit needs to check their rail car status.
