2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

Yes, Savannah sent by deposit back. I’m not sure what they’re gonna do with the order. I would imagine that they’re just gonna keep it in the system and sell it as retail if it ever shows up.
What engine did you order?

Between here and facebook the amount of people that backed out of the orders just because, or said they wanted to put an order in and see what happens is quite impressive. For those that need a truck and do not have a 2022 rather an 2002, and ordered for kicks makes me wonder if those who ordered who actually NEEDED a truck would be able to get one this year.

Exactly, then brag about their intentions of not taking it, if it gets built. And some wonder why the process is F**cked

It doesn't make sense to me why someone would order a vehicle to just not make the purchase. Just messes the whole works up in the long run.

And you also have some, and this may rub some the wrong way, that order multiple vehicles from different dealers knowing that they will only take delivery of one order. I will get off my soapbox now. :alien:

While my impression of Ford could be better, I am feeling good about my dealer. They are starting to get antsy as well on my delivery time. My truck has been waiting on a delivery truck in the rail yard for three weeks so far and has seen the estimated delivery date slide twice this week. Dealer and I got together today to get all of the paperwork going so that things will go smoothly and quickly once they have the truck. It isn’t much but it’s positive.

My order was a F350 with the HO in grey
Carpet delete
Max recline
Clearance lights
Rapid supplemental heater
Block Heater
5th wheel prep

Savannah said she cancelled the order but incase someone wants to try to pick it up if they are going to put it into dealer stock let me know and ill give you my info to pass on. I will say they have been really easy to work with, Ill probably order a 24 lariat with the max recline now since I was able to test out the seats. They are really nice and way better and any other manufacture out now.

I hear ya. I have my financing preapproval with Navy Fed so all I really need to do is haggle over my trade-in which I hope I will get a good deal on.

I dont NEED a truck, but I also didnt simply put in an order "just because"... I'm sure a lot of the orders are like that.

Im trying to sell my 22 as my 23 is a few weeks out(built but not shipped) and not getting any bites. I have a loose trade offer from the dealer and in Texas I lose an tax incentive if I sell private party. I "should" have a 2k ECO from Ford that was active when I ordered and since my 22 order was never built I "should" be eligible for the 5k, but I am guessing that one will be a fight since I ordered from a different dealership...

Then I have interest rates to think about. Im currently at 2.75 on my '22 and likely best I can get on the '23 is high 5's to low 6 which is damn near double...

For what? ALMOST the same truck as my current 22.

Different color, different interior(HUD, max recline seats, etc...), but otherwise same engine and driveline, basically rest of truck same(20" wheels current, 18" on 23, "better" LED lights on 22 vs. 23")... not sure.

I want the 23 and if the financial numbers work out, ill do the deal, if not ill walk. Its no skin off my back at the end of the day. But as of today I have all intents and purpose to purchase the 2023 that I ordered.

I ended up selling mine to CarMax, too soon it appears. They gave me 4K more than I thought it was worth and after shopping it around the next best deal was quite a bit less than they offered. I didn't want to have to deal with trying to get a fair price for a Chevy at a Ford dealer and since I'm already getting an X-plan I didn't think they would be very generous with my 9 year old truck. Carvana offered me 5K less than Carmax.

I did the same. Sold everything outright including F250, SUV, and a motorcycle. My deal is an X Plan as well so I didn’t expect them to do much on my trade. Good news or bad news, everything sold well in advance of delivery…

Anybody receive scheduling email notifications from Ford today? When are those normally generated?

I will be trading in a 2023 Tundra with 5k miles on it. The good thing is that they are still hard to come by. I owe $44k on it and my dealer also has a Toyota dealership right down the street. Plus I will get a break on the sales tax which is a good thing since sales tax in Washington can be crazy.

Dammit I just checked the tracker. My truck delivery slid to the right again! Now showing 06/09/2023 - 06/18/2023. Original date showed a May 29 delivery.

My wife says I need to stop looking at the tracker. Every time I look, it has moved. I may be jinxed. Haha! Mine shows the same dates as yours as of today.

You would think that Ford would want these to move quickly once they are unloaded. I could be wrong but I think past a certain number of days, Ford is required to start paying storage fees for vehicles that exceed those days.

Let's put our heads together and figure out what we did to piss the Ford car carrier drivers off.

Do you know when your truck got to the giant parking lot of failed hopes and dreams?

My truck keeps getting moved back too. Has been in the corner of the railyard close to the house since May 22. Maybe the trucks like its friends there and does not want a new home. Or maybe they just keep stacking other vehicles in front of it. Like the church transit that the dealer got today.
