It'll be fine to use the hog if you get a good weight distributing hitch.
You should see the looks I get pulling my 22 footer with my Harley....

Ryan any movement on your truck yet or is it still in purgatory.I have my fingers crossed that your truck arrives at your dealership tomorrow.
It is finally in Kent, WA. The railcar arrived on Saturday. I have no idea if it has been offloaded yet though. At least I know it could be a few days or a couple of weeks.Ryan any movement on your truck yet or is it still in purgatory.

That is unbelievable. Here's to hoping it shows up today?Well so much for that! My truck was a no show! The good news is that I sold my old truck today which I was going to trade in. Now, where is my new truck that was supposed to be here today? I know where it is the real question is why isn't it on a truck? Coming up on 3 weeks at the rail yard.

I got the same news today. New ETA 6/2-6/15. This is my fourth shift in delivery window. My dealer hasn’t received any new info other than some chatter from their Ford rep about shortage of delivery trucks. Based on the stories of others, I’m just happy the truck exists somewhere out there and will be delivered “soon.”Nope won't show up today. The tracker has shifted to the right again and is now showing Estimated Delivery 06/02/2023 - 06/15/2023. I don't get it. The dealership said they received a car delivery yesterday too and were expecting it on the truck.
United Roads is the shipper of most Fords sitting in rail yards. and Yes they can expidit$ your truck to a carrier. Ive hauled many new vehicles in VA The dealers never know what or when they are getting they just show up!My truck moved fast away from the plant n Kentucky but now sitting miles from the house in that railyard. Now it has sat in that railyard for over 2 weeks. I can see lots of trucks in that railyard. Makes me want to jump the fence and drive it home.
My date just got pushed back to 6/15. Is there a way to get them to expedite the truck to a carrier?United Roads is the shipper of most Fords sitting in rail yards. and Yes they can expidit$ your truck to a carrier. I wonder if there is more they'll do as they get to the end of the month and are trying to meet monthly sales goals. Here's to hoping you won't have to wait past the end of June if that's the case. Still sucks that they can't deliver vehicles as fast as they build them. You would think the dealerships have more control over their delivery schedules and could prioritize which ones get loaded on the car carriers first. Really thought it would show up yesterday on their delivery truck. It has just been sitting there since the 18th of May.
If you know the location of the rail head, pay them a visit It is a third party that does the hauling. a few $ might get it sent have your vin ready. the lot typically overturns inventory in 2 weeks or less. VA was one week. of course that was before covid. My date just got pushed back to 6/15. Is there a way to get them to expedite the truck to a carrier?
Waiting until the end of the month would really suck. We have a short boating season up here and I'm already starting to miss out on boating and fishing days. Dealership was very confident the truck was going to show up yesterday so I got rid of my truck, probably should have waited a little longer until I had eyes on the new one. I didn't want my buyer to get feet and I got more than I wanted so I jumped on it.I wonder if there is more they'll do as they get to the end of the month and are trying to meet monthly sales goals. I called CSX touch trace and railcar my truck was on is confirmed to be empty as of 1:30pm PDT today. Now it is sitting in the parking lot at the railyard in Kent. Now the real wait begins. ;-)I did say I hope you get yours first. I meant it and it's looking like it may happen. Good luck I'm hoping yours surprises you and is on the first truck out of the rail yard! Then mine can show up.![]()
