2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

Well, thats beside the point, someone ordering with Granger today would end up with a 4K priced winch from Ford. Why would a warn winch go up in price by 25%? Are they releasing a new design for 23s? It a huge increase, makes no sense.
I'm wondering if they're like everyone else... Inflation and taking advantage while they can. I haven't heard/seen anything regarding a new design for the 23s.

Got an email from Ford yesterday. My 2023 poverty spec build was moved up from the week of Feb 20th to Feb 6th. Interesting.

Does not look like it. Going by the order guide and the online configuration the two tone will not be available with the chrome package. Azure grey will only be available with the chrome package for the 23 super duty so that means no two tone for azure grey.

If someone has another way of looking/reading the order guide differently please correct me.
Reads well! I'm still going to move forward with the color because I think it just looks so good. At least I'll still get the KR interior and the plate on the bed. That's mainly what I wanted anyway!

I appreciate you chiming in! Where ya at in GA?

I agree. After seeing the two tone KR in azure in the f150 …..no offense to anyone but it doesn’t look like those colors go at all together. However the azure by itself either color matched bumpers or chrome should look really good I think. I’m in Marietta . You?

I've never heard something called "Poverty Spec" before, and it may be my new favorite thing.
Haha yes, my brother in law used to say it, normally talking trash about a pos he was working on....never thought I would be saying it about a 61k truck! Hoping that if I ever need anything offered in the higher trims the aftermarket will take care of me....Heard a youtuber say the poverty spec of today is still the fully loaded of the 90’s

Because I'm the absolute king of patience (total lie) I had the dealer switch it to the antimatter blue so I could have the 2 tone. I just love the 2 tone so much, I'd be annoyed if it didn't have it. Also added the power running boards because I'm going to be the caregiver to my folks here soon and it'll make their lives easier.

I'm in midtown! Druid hills area!

Yep. Everyone will get out of your way with a tremor through Druid Hills

So, are you telling me there a chance... that somebody could receive a 2023 before another person finally receives their 2022?
Looks like it’s going to happen. And that’s just really totally unacceptable. I’m sorry. what a cluster fuck by Ford.

Does anyone know if any of the 2023’s are shipping out yet for orders or dealer stock?

Experiencing this with Polaris as well with a Pro R I have had a confirmed order on since May of 22 - shown it was built months ago, but has never shipped. My brother ordered a 23 in October of 22 and got it last week. So he ordered 11 months after me and got his 23 before I have my 2022! There are dealers with multiple 23's on the lot, same car I have ordered from 22 - crazy that your car can get put in "parts purgetory" and just sit for months on end - no one can tell you anything - yet others who ordered after you just go right on by!!!!

When I ordered my 22 F-350 I had good luck - ordered late July 22, delivery in early December 22. There were others being bypassed as my order walked on thru - now I know what the feel like - happy for the guy who gets his truck/sxs - but not happy to be bypassed again and again!

I ordered a F350 Lariat DRW at the end of November. I recently became a DAV member and found out I could get x-plan pricing. Does anyone know if I can go back to my dealer and use the x-plan price on my current order or will they need to resubmit the order with x-plan pricing?

It is up to your dealer - but unlikely they will honor X-Plan after the fact. Hopefully your dealer is one of the good ones and allows you to use it or at least gives you the option to order another truck with X-Plan if you can't use it on the one you have on order.

My dealer marked mine as X plan but said that would all be taken care of when delivered. Not sure how it works but to me it sounds like they could if they wanted.

I also got XPlan and the paperwork say you notify when ordering. I didnt get my paperwork until about a month later. Surely they will honor it. It saved me about 6k and and ensures the price can't increase due to production costs etc.

X-Plan is handled at the time of purchase. Anything before that is just presentation or separately agreed to. The dealer does the paperwork and takes the proof of eligibility at purchase. Dealers can honor it or refuse. I've done two perfectly smooth X-Plan deals, had a dealer honor it once Ford removed the offer from that vehicle on a third, and had a dealer stick me on another. All were orders.

For this go around I spoke with dealers that honored X-Plan with me in the past. One refused and the other put it in writing before the X-Plan Build & Price was live when I ordered in October. Since it's a formula there is no guessing once you know the Invoice number. The formula is Dealer Invoice - (0.4% * Dealer Invoice) + Administration Fee. Basically every Tremor for 2023 will have an X-Plan price below Invoice.

Is there going to be a Dealer Mark-up? I ordered a 2022 F350 Tremor in June of 2021 and got it just before thanksgiving 2021.Dealer said Ford would send me an email when Build was going to start and then I would get a link to watch it in different areas of Production. I never go an email from Ford. Just before Thanksgiving the Dealer called me, and I'm thinking to myself their going to tell me they forgot to send the order in or some other delay, (since I never got any communication from ford) but he tells me its time to come pick up my new truck! That was quite a surprise. Then when I went to pick it up I got another surprise. They told me there was going to be a $4500 Dealer mark-up and that they are on all Super duty trucks this year. When I balked at that they told me they would give me my deposit back if I decided not to get the truck. I had no idea I was going to have to pay any kind of mark up. I did the build on-line and took it in to them and told them to order it. I figured they make their money on the commission they get from Ford. I wasn't willing to wait another 5 months for a truck. A month later I was talking to a guy at work that bought one from a dealer in Corvallis and he said they didn't charge him a dealer mark-up. This was my first new vehicle. Live and Learn!

I would argue that and say that they will be less likely to get of the way. Seems like the larger the vehicle, the less likely they are to get out of the way in that area lol.

So has anyone had their 23 order built yet? Shipped?

There should be no dealer markup and you are price protected from the time of order. If you didn’t agree upon the price, then assume MSRP. The window sticker MSRP wouldn’t be accurate as it’s printed during manufacturing at the current rate. Go there and re-I force you know the rules and you price protected. Call ford if they give you pushback. Don’t pay a markup
