Yes, I want this as well. I don't want to advertise to everyone that I'm opening up the truck.
I set Dark Mode (or was it called "Silent Mode"?) on my 2022 and loved it.

I went in and found it in forscan for my 24 tremor and turned on dark mode. It’s sweet!

With Silent Mode/ dark mode, do the interior dome lights still turn on when a door is opened if the overhead dome light switch is set to "door"?

Also, I believe you can toggle it on/off directly from the SYNC screen (Vehicle Settings → Silent Mode slider) after first enabling it using FORScan (APIM and BCM changes for Centerstack Settings + Silent Mode Control Function), according to Grok.

I may give this a try. It'll come in handy when camping so my truck doesn't light up the whole campsite like a Christmas tree

No lights whatsoever turn on besides the start up scene on the sync. It would honestly be nice to have maybe courtesy floor lights turn on. I need to look around in sync now and see what exactly got turned off and see if I can independently turn stuff back on. Once you hit the start button, everything is back to normal.

If they would have just let Ambient Lighting work with Silent Mode it would have been perfect. Stupid programmers.

I hated it more when I had cab lights. While I have the slider feature enabled, I rarely use Silent Mode anymore.

Enabling Centerstack gives you a slider in the infotainment where you can enable/disable Silent Mode. Much better than having to fire up FORScan every time.

I'm going to try to add this anyway, even if the courtesy lights won't come on. Could you please provide a step by step of how to enable the centerstack slider? What I have noticed is that even when I disabled everything the light in the center console comes on every time the door is opened then times out and shuts off about a minute after the door is opened. This is how the courtesy lights should work. I'm really just trying to get back to the good old days when you open the door and only the courtesy lights come on.

If my memory serves me correct, you have enable the first line in dark, called mode initial I believe and enable the last dark mode setting line in the list. I should’ve taken a picture when I did it, but it’s all pretty straight forward when the list is pulled up.

Thanks! I've already made quite a few changes with forscan so I was more curious about which settings need to be changed in which controllers. No hurry but if you do get a chance to document each change you made to enable the on screen control of the dark mode, it would be much appreciated!

Was using Forscan on my 2024 F350 Lariat yesterday to update the APIM module to add TBT to my HUD and noticed the headlight settings showed halogen even though It was delivered with the factory LEDs. Any ideas if changing the settings to LED would change anything?

Turn by Turn, the early build 24s did not have it enable it in the HUD.

Factory DRL are only white. Have to go aftermarket to get dual color.

Thanks. Venom Trucks makes an adapter that converts the DRL on GM trucks from white to amber. If the Ford DRLs are only white with no switchback capability, this makes sense. Not going to replace a headlight with another for $1000+ just for amber DRL. Wish there was an easy solution but I'll live with white. Thanks for the reply!
