On my 2023 F250, in the PCM plain english module, there is no gallon/litre values or tank size settings that can be changed, why would I not have that when others can change it in PCM?

Yeah, why? Some thought that Ford wanted to discourage larger midship aftermarket fuel tanks. If anyone figures out how, I'd like to know.

Anyone know which PCM module the Cruise/Speed Control lives in?

I replaced my plastic-rimmed XLT steering wheel w/ an authentic Ford SuperDuty Lariat steering wheel, same model year, and which button panel appears exactly as my original wheel's button panel.

The right side buttons work (controlling dash display menu and readouts) but the left side buttons for Cruise Control result in non-response.

Only looking to first avoid airbag removal and replacement again but if I must re-use my XLT's button panel on the new leather wheel, I will.

All I could do in FORScan was determine that FORScan sees the [Lariat leather] steering wheel's Left Switch bank as "incorrect" and with a corresponding DTC in the SCCM.

Solution for me was to simply swap my XLT's entire button panel into the new, leather wheel. This was the most straightforward approach since I feel like an absolute do0fus when trying to use FORScan.

Perhaps I will improve in the future using FORScan, but for now the buttons swap is complete and all steering wheel buttons' function is restored. I have my Cruise Control back in operation. Yay.

Good call. The setting is there, but it could be in the as-builts and not plain english. If that's the case, it would be difficult to try and figure out on your own.

I tinted my windshield the day I after I bought the truck so I’m almost certain its the tint but my truck thinks its night time at about 4pm unless I’m directly facing the sun and even then its 50/50 on if the headlights are on or not. Same thing in the morning- headlights on till 10am unless im directly facing the sun.

Sometimes its wonky though- like the other day the sun was almost fully down and I was driving away from the sun and the headlights didnt kick on.

I’ll deal with it for the ceramic benefits in AZ but I hope I can adjust the way the sensor works just curious

It’s because it dims the entire dash. I don’t really care about the headlights. I run everything in night mode too but the dimming of both screens is what is driving me nuts.

There is a delay setting in ForScan but not a general sensitivity that I am aware of. In other words it will still dim but it will take longer. There is probably a way to disable the dimming altogether, though. Sorry I don't remember off the top of my head where the settings are.

I travelled almost 7 hours today southbound on 101/46/5/405 into the area close to LAX and from Salinas. I stop often for fuel, because I like to stay topped off. It's a habit from mahtruckin'days.

Point is, my Lanekeeping Assist decided to active itself today and I didn't realize it at first. I just thought, "boy this caster is really dialed in!" Hahaha... then I fingered it out and partly due to the strange new icon atop the dash center disply.

Then when attempting to switch it off, I couldn't concentrate well enough at 70 MPH to fiddle about with the dash and center displays... can/would anyone well versed in this sort of switcheroo chime in w a general sequence of items? Like "blah > blah > blah, then blah" sort of thing to turn this nanny bewsheeit off?

This might have been discussed already, but is there a way to make it so that the steps don’t come down automatically when you get close with the fob in your pocket but the lighting still happens?

I like the lights turning on when you walk up to it at night, but I don’t need the steps coming down every time I walk by my truck just seems like it’s going to make them wear out that much faster.
