2023+ ForScan Spreadsheet

2770 is perfect. Im running 37x13.5 and my speedo is perfectly accurate up to 80 which is as high as I have tested it. I’ve not tested it to 10ths but two different GPS says 80 and truck says 80 so good enough for me
Yeah 2770 is what I had my 37x12.50r18 Toyo OC ATIII's set at and that was pretty much spot on. You should be able to get the codes to clear.

As for the other code you mentioned, what specific code(s) are getting set? I'll see what I can find to get them fixed.

Don’t have the error in front of me but its been mentioned a few pages back. It’s a DTC in the IPC related to the generator. Happens when I zero out everything for the seatbelts. When I swap it back to as built values, the DTC goes away instantly.

I don’t have pro power.

I sit in my truck enough in park that I got tired of the truck locking out my center screen if I took my seatbelt off in park so I had to just disable it all. I’ve been wearing a seatbelt my entire life, always will- just dont need the truck telling me to put it on in park lol

What's this comment on the spreadsheet for Navigation in Motion mean: Breaks Sync Voice - KIP programming option screen? I did this mod mostly so I could access my USB music library while driving and don't really care about the NAV as I use my phone anyway.

I don't know for certain but strongly suspect it indicates that the setting breaks Sync's ability to accept voice commands.
If I'm right, Voice command button ➡️ "play master of puppets" , "seat ventilation off" etc. would no longer work.

Being a novice to Forscan can anyone tell me what columns D, E, and F represent on the spreadsheet?

Also just to help me from making a mistake in adjusting tire size to offset a speedometer error. In Forscan I’m thinking If my error is that my speedometer is reading higher than actual gps speed I need to lower the Forscan tire circumference number. Is this correct?

Motion alarm sensors successfully disabled. I forgot which module this is in, but it disabled the motion sensors inside the cabin on my 2024.

726-02-02 XXXX - **XX - XXXX
726-02-02 XXXX - 01XX - XXXX = inside cab motion alarm sensors and inclination (tow alarm) are active
726-02-02 XXXX - 02XX - XXXX = inside cab motion alarm sensors disabled and inclination (tow alarm) is active

I assume 00XX would mean both disabled, but I am guessing. I tested the motion sensors a few times and have not been able to trigger them anymore (compared to before). No, no more manual disabling them upon leaving the truck. The dog will be very happy (and me, too :) )
 
Yeah unfortunately 2790 is about the highest I have seen work. The number is hard coded max in the system. I have Falken RT0/1's at 37x11.50r20 and their actual diameter is 36.8 inches. I have mine set to 2780 and my speedo is almost spot on, only .1 to .2 off at 60 MPH and no codes. 2800 will definitely set a code that is similar to "parameter out of bounds" type. I have also seen weird behavior with certain values in the 26xx and 27xx range and have never been able to figure out why. However, I know 2788, 2780, 2778, 2772, 2770, 2768, 2762, 2758, 2756 and 2752 all work and codes can be cleared.

Just got our new 2024 Super Duty and planning to run 38s on it. Was hoping it'd be able to get the speedo fully corrected with Forscan. Using the attached Forscan tire size spreadsheet, shows 2927mm. Hand calculated of the circumference in inches (37.76"), converted to mm (959mm), multiplied by pi (3.14) gave me 3013mm.

It’s my understanding that you can edit the rear axle ratio to get back into the acceptable zone for circumference.

Mine calculated high like that as well. At the max of 2790, mine is about 2-3mph off at 80 which is acceptable to me. 38x13.50s on 17.9s at about 38-40psi hot. Falken R/T01s.

Try it and see what you get.
 
Yeah, the fact that Ford hard codes the max top end circumference number is frankly asinine. You can try 2798 and then use the method to clear as I posted above and see. Some people have been able to get that to work for reasons I haven’t been able to figure out yet. You would think the number would be standard across all models, but it’s Ford so who knows.

You used to be able to do that on the older models. I believe those that are equipped with Sync 4 doesn’t work. I’m not sure about the 2022 model year but the 23 end up folks have posted didn’t work. However, I would run that by @ZooDad as he would know for sure.

Unfortunately modifying the axle ratio to correct speedometer doesn’t work on the newer trucks.
The only option above the hard code is an in-line speedometer calibrator.

Even the older trucks...the speed sensor read of the the tone wheel of the carrier...so one rotation is one rotation... Gear ratio makes no difference

The only time it would is if the speed sensor was on the output of the transmission
 
I ran a Banks iDash on our 2019 F-250 and we just used that to correct the speedometer, though it didn't do anything for the truck or transmission. That said, with the 6-speed, it wasn't a big deal.

With these 10 speeds, I've heard from multiple TCM tuners that you really need to have the speedometer calibrated correctly. Might have to just add an in-line calibrator this time.
 
@ZooDad - Have a question for you on the seatbelts. In my previous trucks, I just used Forscan to shut the minder off and the bell. The seatbelt light would stay on for 2-3 minutes and go away.

It looks like this new option makes it to where the truck doesn't think there are seatbelts installed at all. Is this a safety issue if the truck is not monitoring seatbelt usage in the event of a crash?

I did try to also use the method in the owner's manual, but my seatbelt light would never turn off so I was unable to complete the procedure.
