I buy and use the Costco blades when they go on sale. I can usually get away with one set a year. I put them on before winter (the only time we get rain where I live) and they rarely get used throughout the summer. The Costco blades work well when new.

Oddly enough - I’m going back to OEM. I was most impressed by their longevity.
Took delivery of my truck in April ‘22. I bought a new set of OEM blades somewhere back in this thread (last year ?) and still haven’t installed them, the originals are still working good.

just noticed today the walmart $9.98 blades i got are stamped rain-x

all metal except for the squeegee
cheap
work great
last for years

2020 originals took a $hit at a year just after the reccall fix. replaced with the walmart/rain-x special (cheapest they sell) & still going strong today in the mist we're having.

Replaced my original wiper blades with Bosch Icons about 50 miles after I bought the truck. The OEM squeaked so bad I replaced them in 2 days. Just ordered the Trico diamond series to try something new. I used to get 2 seasons out of the Bosch Icons but after 10 months the pair I have not are toast so I’m going to try the Trico

Wiper blades get changed every 6 months here. I usually get the blade style.

2023 F250 Tremor with 36K miles live in TX. Does anybody else have continuous problems with windshield wiper blades performing poorly? I have been through 3 or 4 sets and they are all terrible. Streaking, spotting. just worthless. I typically replace every 6 months or so, especially leading up to deer season as I tend to drive more. Hard to see especially while driving at night. Does anybody have a specific wiper blade brand that they recommend that actually work? My auto sensing wipers have never worked but whatever......I'm not taking it back to the dealer for that.

What do you use for window washer fluid?? How often do you wash the truck?? How often do you clean the windshield glass inside and outside??

Reasons are those elements all come into play. I can say from my regular outside washing, cleaning the inside the windshield, and using Rain-X (orange colored) fluid tend to help the wiper blades perform very good. I recently went to Rain-X wipers blades, not my first choice as I prefer Bosch.

I agree with so much of this. I'm running Orange Rain-X window wash (oddly my wife cannot stand it and prefers the blue crap), and I will be going back to OEM wipers.

There are a few times when the RainX Orange does build up causing a bit of wiper blade skipping. Seems to be easily fixed with a good cleaning with typical glass cleaner.

BTW I have no love for "painting a battleship" process that these trucks tend to create. Washing and general cleaning tasks become an undertaking. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

These OEM blades on my ‘24 seem to be the best blades I’ve had on any vehicle. I usually replace blades every 6 months on my cars (preferred the Rain-X blades) but I’ve been on these original blades for over 12 months now and they still perform as good as they did on Day 1, which was ironically a rainy day. I think I’ll be sticking with the OEM for the foreseeable future.

Many people seem go with the Bosch Icons, I have PIAA super silicone and really like them.

The Bosch Focus were the worst blades I've ever used. Skipps terribly at highway speeds, left tons of black marks on my windshield. Had them on the truck less than 2 months and then switched to the PIAAs. They've worked well, but has some light skipping a few weeks ago when it rained. Noticed it happened more when rain was light at highway speeds. Still much better than the Bosch Focus.

I noticed my Bosch Icons I installed in August of 2024 are already needing replaced. Would like to find something better. I feel like they used to hold up better when I first started using them in 2013 on an F150.

You're EXACTLY right! I have had the same experience. I bought them after watching "Storm Chasers" and drank Reed's Kool Aid...they have really gone down hill. OEM for me - and likely via Amazon or Dealer if I can't find another way.

Picking up some OEMs today from dealer. Supposed to get 2-4" of snow today-tomorrow and would like to see them perform better.

I just did a quick search online @ ford.parts.com and looks like they run $18 a piece. So $36 for both and you’re still under what a single Rain-X or Bosch will run ya.
$18 a piece is good! The official Ford parts website on my end has them at $23.65 a piece.

Bosch icons have been great on my truck. They are pricey though. That said I just ordered a set for moms daily when I was visiting her for the holidays... Couldnt deal with the bullshit OEM blades on her brand new bronco sport. Maybe thats just a fluke but I have never had good oem blades.

Perhaps I could get new oem blades 3x for every bosch icon but I dont have time to be switching out blades all the time. I just end up not doing it.
