What do you use for window washer fluid?? How often do you wash the truck?? How often do you clean the windshield glass inside and outside??

Reasons are those elements all come into play. I can say from my regular outside washing, cleaning the inside the windshield, and using Rain-X (orange colored) fluid tend to help the wiper blades perform very good. I recently went to Rain-X wipers blades, not my first choice as I prefer Bosch.

I add water as needed, and whatever the oil change place puts in there...prolly just water
I don't wash the truck very often......once a month or so.....drive thru type place typically
I've never cleaned the inside of the windshield. I get a handwash and interior done every oil change....so every 6 months appx. $45 dollar wash....not a full detail type deal.

since day one the wiper blades have been terrible....worst in my 24 years of driving.

I just bought some Bosch Icons....we shall see how they do.

$18 a piece is good! The official Ford parts website on my end has them at $23.65 a piece.

I think yours is correct. I go to the link I had before and it takes me to your price. Still come out ahead 👍🏼

Ford changed the part to WW-2998 for later production '24 MY and up starting on October 1st; that one is $15.53 a piece!

Sure enough they changed the wiper arms starting on October. 1st too to match the blades! 😲 weird design. Looks like the new arm has less metal width to it leading up to the 'hook' attachment.

Could very well be that it wouldn't apply as much downward force to the blade now, creating skipping/chattering.

I use the Bosch Icon and Rain-x window wash and have had great results with both.

Pick a flavor of actual washer fluid.
I know it's a PITA but the interior glass needs to be cleaned as well.

I went with the Bosch Icons this year at $55 on Amazon. Last year I used the RainX Latitudes, those were about $35. a pair. I think the RainX are a better blade for the money.

If these OEM ones wear out as quickly as the Icons I tossed I'm going to schedule getting a new windshield. All the sandblasting and rock chips doesn't bode well for longevity.

Been putting off a new windshield (no visible cracks), but I know as soon as I get a new one something will happen to it.

3 months now and still like new, they haven’t skipped a beat. Ironically, this blade seems to be better than some of the more expensive ones i had in the past, including oem one from factory which was toast in less than a year.

Next update in another 3 months.

Did you buy up all their 22" wiper stock or was there none available?

Anyone ever try waxing their windshield? I mean rain X is sort of a wax but I curious if you get some sort of “good” ceramic type wax if that would help the wipers slide up and down.
