Mine aren't very tight, but pulled up so the fairlead abuts the surface it mounts to. When I used a ratchet and socket on the acorn nuts, I could feel the head of the bolt turn and could damn near hold them with my fingers. If I can break them loose with an impact, I'm sure the impact will get them tighter than they are now.
It will tighten up plenty. I just used my electric 1/2” and it max out. You don’t want to probably hammer on those acorn nuts very hard because they may strip fairly easy.

That's funny shit ?A little side humor regarding winch installation. My salesman at the dealership kept emailing and texting me regarding when the wench should be expected to arrive, timing of delivery related to wench install, success of wench installation and and how happy he was with his service guys in their handling of there first Tremor wench. I never shared those messages with my wife, ? and didn't have the heart to explain to my salesman friend (63 years old) that a wench is "A young, promiscuous woman or a prostitute". ? He made the same error so many times that I began to wonder what I was actually getting with my truck!

I'm still baffled by the delay in the factory accessories. My winch arrived at the dealer before the truck and the truck was exactly on schedule with the original build and delivery date. As for the infamous Trailer Cam/TPMS kit, my salesman was able to have it in house before the winch was installed. I think these problems are rooted in the dealerships, not the supply chain.
So, I just need to order the original piece and trim it correctly?
I heard the same thing from the 1-800 no one gives-a-shit # at Ford. Before I called Ford, I called Warn. They claimed they do have many Items on Back-Order, but none of it has to do with fulfilling the Winches for Ford. Someone is full of Shit ..
I have tried to buy the FORD winch as an add on to my 2020 Tremor. The dealer keeps telling me the winch is not in the Parts Catalogue yet. Does anyone know the part number for the kit ?
So......where’s the “How to Video” that is supposed to accompany your license plate install? My license plate holder showed up today. All giddy inside I went out to simply “slap it on”. That’s when I realized this is gonna be a PITA! How do you get the top hooks in between the trim piece and the bumper. If anyone wants to do a video of the install and post it up I’ll be the first to watch it, I promise ?

I had to remove the fairlead with an impact on mine. Once it was loose it popped right in. Be careful not to let the bolts fall out the back. I had to apply a little pressure with my finger s to the bolt head to keep it from turning.
