What’s in your gun safe?

Remember the 2nd amendment is there to protect the 1st amendment! Most countries don’t have this in their constitution.
Cheers 🍻

Mathematically speaking,

1A - 2A = -1A

I decided after many years I hate Glocks. Even though I carry 2 on duty. Only kept 20 of them and sold the rest. LOL
PS Buying a Gen 6 G45 Monday
I keep a couple of Glocks around myself. I've given a mess of them away to family.

I just picked up a G6 19. Went through the blue sales program to get it. Took forever, and there were little to no updates. I just saw a charge on my card and then received a tracking number, probably because I was pinging the shit out of them, heh heh. It only took three months... never again.

I never bought a Glock…

I did win a 9/11 never forget special edition Glock 19 a couple years back… ($20 ticket). Mine is identical to one below without gold ZP barrel.

Never shot it (have shot glocks in past and can appreciate them for what they are but never my favorite) as I have never decided keep or sell

Bul Armory SAS II TAC PRO ....My LGS got this thing in on trade. As I had never seen/held one I got hooked. Went home did some research, figured out it was 2025 production, went back. Optic/light is a bonus. Ported "V8" barrel. Worst part was as a "used gun" there's a hold till next week. UGGGGHHHHH. Stock pics below.

You fellers seem proud of the fact. 😝

Which to me is funny, because I feel the same way. I thought I was the only one. :geek:

I could never get into that trigger, although I understand there are improvements for such an egregious apparatus available. I just could never in the past.

That said, I would own a Glock - IF - I could get my hands on the LAPD special whatever-it-was that chambered the .45 Auto, shorter slide and on a specific frame. Only way for this civilian to have this LEO market pistol (in California, anyway, although full-time Utah residence is on the horizon) is to purchase two Glock and mix the slides and frames. It's a very good shooter from what I can gather.
I've wanted to like Glocks but I've never shot them well so I've not purchased any.

H&K on the other hand, like they were made for me.

The Israelis do it right.

Dozent everybody have a nightstand gun? I thought that was standard practice 🤔
Springfield Echelon with optics and a light bedside. Sig M400 300 Blk sitting in the corner next to it. Hanging in the closet beyond that is various forms of armor, night vision optics, ammo and other party favors.

My friend reviews firearms for a living, and I'm his trigger dummy. My hands are in more of his videos than his own because he's usually working the highspeed camera.

I really dislike Glocks in general. They are plastic blocks, like a kid shaped a pocket full of Legos into a gun and someone in Austria saw the design thought it was brilliant. In comparison to 1911/2011 designs, their triggers are terrible. Ergonomics could never compare to a CZ or PDP in modern times. Glocks come with plastic sights which are TERRIBLE for anything other than hitting a dirt hill. But I bring Glocks to a pistol course at least twice a year and shoot them randomly throughout the year on range trips to bring me back to reality. The reality is, Glocks are still the highest in volume of handguns available in America. I own several to shoot and also to bring with me as training aids for new or newer shooters because they are also idiot-proof for the most part.

This past weekend, I shot a factory P365 and a G43x with a new defensive ammo at 15 yards. Here's my targets. While I hate the factory trigger and overall ergos of the Glock, the target doesn't lie. The first target is the Sig, second is the Glock.

I realize that the Glock group was the winner and started to adjust the dot, hence the high flyer at 9 and the hit in the red. Both guns have all factory components but have red dots mounted. Both targets were shot at a comfortable pace five rounds at a time to verify no feeding or extraction issues.

Same experience here, I have have a little P365 SAS with an aftermarket trigger that loses to my stock 43 every time. Fortunately, my range is a few steps from my back patio, so I get plenty of shooting in. Like you inferred, Glocks are foolproof. Even competitors like Ruger are using their designs. And they were on the forefront of “safe action” technology.

I have various methods of carrying. Both on and off body. Holsters, bags, heck, even my Bible cover has a hidden holster. It’s post for Revelation, lol. Most are for the 43. Out of 10-12 in carry rotation.

those bull armory 2011's shoot really nice! I've tested a few of them out and love them
