What have you 3D printed?

Unfortunately I don’t, sorry. I have too much wrapped up in the R&D, and can’t risk sending the file into the wild where it could easily make it into one of the repositories. Hope you understand.

For the product you have made it's worth EVERY PENNY one needs to pick up to get one of those funnels!! Love it for the oil changes on these beasts.

That's cool! Is he using those for chase lights?
My understanding is he’s a construction worker. But I’m sure it can be adapted.

Being a small shop i have to do nearly everything myself (and the wife. the wife. Dont forget the wife!!), including the packaging of all the hardware.
I started off counting washers.
I quickly 3d printed a dowel-rod shaped jig that would only hold a set amount of washers. Just fill it and its the correct qty.

That's still not good enough...

So I designed and printed this. I'm just waiting for another arduino to come in as the one i have doesnt have good connections on the sockets. Ordered a pre-soldered one hoping to have better luck.
It should come in today so i can finish programming it to dispense the desired quantity of washers for my CoverGuard product.

Its made this big to accommodate larger washers with a disc change out (blue). However, its still too big even for the largest washer i designed to dispense. Ill end up making a v2 once i have enough changes to justify editing and spending another 13 hrs/700g of filament.

got the electronics dialed in. Had an issue with the IR sensors not picking up a washer every time it dropped.
Ended up printing inserts for the holes so the IR sensors have a smaller window. I've tested it multiple times and its dead on.

All thats left is enhancing the machine so it picks up washers more effectively, enclosing the electronics, and figuring out where to mount the keypad.
Might look to add a single button to push to repeat the process once the desired count has been entered.

So... i'm not 3d printing it but i'm having it 3d printed out of 316 stainless...
Plastic doesnt really help a ground plane so... found an online place thatll print this for a reasonable price.

Working on some other light mounts today for another forum member. Added a comparison to the of a S1.

Also the gentleman that bought my headrest light bar mount sent a video of what it looks like turned on.

Last thing is a “make the wife happy” print. Our smart shade motors have a flat bottom and kept grabbing the end of the shade and messing it up, and sometimes knocking it off the mount.

Let me know if that link didn’t work.
Video link isn’t working for me.

I re-uploaded it on a computer and it looks like its working now.

A while back I started looking into making a product line of air coupler covers. I bit off more than I could chew but i had quite a bit of drawings already created and dialed in when i made that decision.

Therefore, i've added the files to my website. There are multiple and each list out the known brands they work with.

The files are free but shall not be monetized. If you want these covers but dont have a 3d printer, reach out to a vendor/supporting member who would be willing to print them for you. I have zero issues if they charge for the use/time of their machine.

@OmahaBravo you never cease to amaze me brother! That a great set of files right there! I’ll gladly print them for anyone that needs them.

The female couplers are my favorite!

Okay, I need a hard hat "holster" or hook that makes it sit about here:

I have the seat hooks that @Phil314 sent me but the "hook" bit isn't "proud" enough to hook into the back strap of the hat:

Anyone want to give it a go?

I should add that I would like it to stay on the corner like in the picture so my daughter can still have her tablet holder where it currently is.

What brand of hardhat is that? It was kind of like the full Bri version of the one I have at work.

Have you looked at this?

There are others on Etsy that might work for your situation. Another example:
