Vecman's Build - Boyhood Dreams Realized!

Installed these two switches for the rock lights and third brake light antenna lights. I didn’t want to waste upfitters for this, and like how they look here. It looks like the one on the right has scratches, but this isn’t the case in real life.

Pusher manifolds arrived last week. I have a few other things to go in the engine bay, so I’m waiting for a shop to handle all of this for me, as well as do some tuning for me. I’ll take some pictures of that hopefully in the next week or so. Can’t wait for that!

For radio audio, I’m waiting on one last part, but I am planning on using The WIZ from audio interrupt. It connects into a speaker line (front center for me). Then plugs into power and the 3.5mm jack of the radio. I ran a splitter to both radios. In theory, this device allows for the center speaker to be used as your radio speaker, and will mute any music that may be coming through it if need be.

Plastic burrs? ;)
I don’t know. It looks nice and clean in the truck. Must have taken this picture at the wrong time. It’s bugging me! Haha

Extremely nice!

@Vecman all the installs look really clean and integrated! Thanks for catching us up on your status!!

Also ended up doing the Raptor wheel swap. I’ve actually enjoyed this a lot!

Looks good! I agree, the Raptor steering wheel is really nice. Where did you get the vent mount for the Banks gauge?

Block8head on facebook i believe? I took a very long time, and I had to do some painting to match it better. Turned out nice. Earlier in the thread I discuss it more. It took at least 2 months to get it though. If you search the site, I believe there’s another website that sells them that seems less sketchy. This block guy doesn’t communicate well and I took a risk. I’ll see if I can find that site

@modified - here’s the other site

The one you want would be down the page called “2015 2021 Ford F150 250 350 - Single Pod Driver Vent W/SWT - OCPF-90” I think the other ones listed (and many of eBay) are just covers. I wanted, and assume you would want, an actual replacement vent cover, not a cover for your current vent. If you bought that one, and the paint i mentioned, it would look nice. The krylon paint didn’t match the platinum trim perfectly, but since it’s only next to the dash area, not the other vents, it’s’ so close you can’t tell

Thanks! I missed your original post about it.

I found him on facebook - https://www.facebook.com/Block8head

I also found one on Etsy that appears to be similar:
Etsy one looks like another cover. The facebook guy and the one I linked above have actual replacement parts which will look cleaner

Realized it’s been a while for my build thread. I’ve done quite a bit to my baby since the last post. I will update a bit.

E-venture has been reviewed pretty well on the site, so I won’t go into it much, but I absolutely love the system on my truck. So glad I did it! I have a some mileage updates to my mini-experiment i was running, and I’ll address that later also. Here’s a few quick photos of some additions lately:

Lockable AR mount, prevents trigger access also. Like how it mounted to the seat back rack.

Vecman, love your build man, you really have a clean looking ride. I have two pics of my old Chevy here, it doesn't show much but I had a Greyman Tactical mount that I used with a suppressed SBR 300 blk that had a lot of accessories like first aid kit, mag holders, pistol mount, etc. Again these pics are terrible but the mount was nice and it had a soft cover that you could place over it to help conceal everything. Just fyi if you are looking for accessories. https://greymantactical.com/

I’ll check them out. Thanks! Same for me, I put the speaker behind the seat, and have med kit, jump pack, and some air hoses and such under the seat. Told my wife I want this truck to look normal, but be able to help out in a lot of various scenarios

How am I just now finding your build thread? Hurry up and put that intake in, can’t wait to see it!!

roger that, My tool box is full of all different items for that "just in case" scenario. I just finished up my ARB twin last weekend and am doing the Banks Ram air this weekend. I am always searching for another project. I haven't decided if I am going to mount my gun in the new tremor but I sure like the way your builtright panels fit. Thanks for sharing all your mods my friend!

Well, that was a 5 day project from hell, but got it all buttoned up and works flawlessly! I love this upgrade. I wanted to not detract too much from the overall look of the truck, but improve functionality. For me, this bumper accomplished this.

Bumper: Fab Four Matrix - no guard
Lights: Baja Designs Squadron SAE and Pros (wide cornering for both) and 30” Onyx6 Lightbar (drive combo)
Winch: Sherpa 17000 lb steed
