Tremor Dogs! Let’s See Um!

These are the two kids in back of Tremor - recommend the 4Knines hammock with door covers to protect the interior, these are the youngsters, Bear and Dude, loaded up for a day trip

There are probably only three malamutes. The fourth is just a pile of hair from the other three…

Fur management = 4Knines hammock for the crew cab it keeps the fur "contained" then can just shake it out - the biggest challenge is when someone decides they're going to come up to front seat and play copilot 🤡

Kimber had her first boat trips recently as well. She did great. But she was wrecked and passed out before we left the parking lot (after she jumped around and made her truck bed all crooked).

Looking good, brother! Glad Kimber is getting around and having fun. Will she be with a companion one day or you won't let her date? 🤪
She is plenty enough dog for our house at the moment. PLENTY! Although, I’ve always wanted a duck dog, and I’ve been enamored with Chessies ever since I first met one so……

Loop that strap around an extra time and she won't be able to get it crooked 😉. Or maybe she will 🤷🤣🤣
😂 Yeah it’s made for the front seat and has an extra strap to keep it stable. My wife wanted to ride up front (can’t understand why), so the pup got bumped to the back seat, and then I can only get it hooked up with the top loop and the seatbelt. Kimber can be a bit of a tornado at times, so it’s tough keeping it stable. The lake is less than 10 minutes from the house so I wasn’t terribly worried about it. And at that point I think she would have been able to fall asleep while being hung upside down by one paw. 😂

We love the feisty little terrier dogs! Fiercely loyal and tough as nails, compact and what we call handy sized for travel. 🤩 Looks like you got yourself a winner 🏆 👍

We have a Chesapeake/Lab mix. She’s been a great family dog for us. She’s also known as my wife’s “calming goat”.

chessies are awesome

just in case you're not aware of the breed?? they are not labs. they need to be well socialized starting at 16weeks. continued exposure to people and different environments their whole life. they can become very territorial & overly protective if they aren't. read up on the breed characteristics, you'll see what i mean.

well trained, the best dog you can have!!!!! I've had 4.

I’ve been doing my research on them for years and everything you have said seems to be very accurate for the breed. One of the main reasons I haven’t gotten one is because I don’t have the time to dedicate to training a Chessie the right way. Like you said, they need continuous training and exposure to different environments and experiences. It wouldn’t be fair to get a pup and then not have the time to spend with it daily. I believe one will be my retirement gift. I’ve also read that as stubborn as they may seem, they are incredibly intelligent and can become discouraged and frustrated when they sense you are forcing them to do something. Seems like showing them the “why” along with the command tends to work better if that makes sense. With you having 4 of them previously, I might have to bounce you for some more information about them if you would be willing.

Our Senior Citizen 11 years young, about 120 lbs, with his arthritis, he's bit past getting in the Tremor though we have ramp set up for the Outback for trips to dog park
