I went with the Machined finish with Clear Powdercoat and a black tech light ring with stainless hardware. I went back and forth between the Black or Machined finish and decided since my truck is a Platinum, it would complement all of the Chrome. Very good info on the refinishing capability!
As much as I like the look of the ring I’m going to go with smooth lip to much crap gets stuck behind those rings the wheels on my Bronco badlands drive me nuts with that

Been pretty happy with my RTT, would I. buy them again? not sure as I haven't had the that long. here are the 35 RTT

have a new set for sale in colorado!

I just want them in black so I think they only offer black powder coat
You can get them in black anodized. You want to call in to submit the order as the website only shows the very basic options. Typically, you get the wheel anodized which holds up better and shows off the machining of the wheel. Since the rings aren't machined to the same level of detail, typically you have those powder coated.

Do you have any experience with the RT Trail?
Nope but, if it's in the "RT" hybrid AT/MT family, i won't run them.

What's been your experience with the RGs? Had great luck with them on my F-150. Still running them on that truck.

MT Carcass and Street tread compound makes for a tire that rides like it belongs on a forklift. They'll last 50K+ thanks to the ultra-hard compound and tread depth. MT will have a strong sidewall and soft tread (my preference), AT will have softer sidewall, harder tread.

I had the RGs on my old truck for 20 days. I returned them to Americas tire. I didn’t like them either
I had them for 600 miles before swapping them.

If CJC likes Nittos, they must be good:

Oh ok thanks, I’m going to go with smooth lip

I never paid attention to the smooth lip and just looked it up. That is a very good looking wheel as well. SDHQ has a set on a Blue Bronco and it looks very clean.

I actually have a bronco badlands Sasquatch and as much as I like the look of the beadlock beauty ring they just trap dirt and muck no matter what I do when I wash it there’s always dirt dribble runs right after I wash it drives me nuts and I sure as hell don’t have time to pull the million bolts that hold them on every time I wash a vehicle lol don’t get me wrong I love the look of the tech-light rings just don’t want to deal with it

This is a non issue with slotted rings. I would never run a smooth lipped wheel on any off road vehicle as the ring protects the actual wheel from rash.

Im willing to bet the issue you're having is caused by the offset of the factory wheels. There's very little room between the ring and wheel which I can definitely see trapping mud.

I don’t think we’re on the same page what I’m talking about has nothing to do with the wheels offset if I have time and remember I’ll try and get a pic the ring creates about a 1/4” lip/chanel I guess you’d call it and without being able to see the innov8 wheels in person I’m not willing to take a $4k+ gamble, and the most “off-road” this truck will ever see is a gamelands dirt road lol no way in hell I’d bash the shit out of a $100k truck

Here’s a shot of the Innov8 G500 beadlocks mounted on my Jeep 392. The point I wanted to highlight is how the offset creates a deep dish look, while the slotted design on the rings prevents any buildup behind them. Cleaning is a breeze. You can literally run a rag or sponge around the dish and you’re done. No extra effort, no extra time.

If anyone is thinking about getting a set of Innov8 wheels, I highly recommend checking out both their Facebook and Instagram pages. They offer a ton of customization options, and seeing the different setups really helps take the guesswork out of your decision.

Also, you don’t need to be hitting offroad trails to benefit from a rash ring. Think about all those tight spots and unfamiliar areas you pull into while towing an RV. Having that added protection is a smart move either way.

Innov8 wheels are truly a lifetime investment. As you move from one truck to another, you can have them refinished to perfectly match your new build. The quality is exceptional, and it’s something you really have to see in person to fully appreciate.

I know these photos aren’t the best as they were taken while I was unpacking but both sets are actually the same wheel. I had them refinished differently to match two different trucks. This is the versatility you get with Innov8.

When you’ve made this level of investment, adding a rock ring is a smart move. It goes a long way toward protecting your wheels from curb rash, trail damage, or unexpected scrapes even when you’re not hard core off roading.

G700 w slotted ring (on 37 AT3's for thread content)
powdercoat anthracite / satin black rings
I talked with the owner of Innov8 before ordering these, and he said the powdercoat holds up much better than the anodized, and in general, holds up well

I'll vouch for everything billet said about these, and I'm on the same page of not trashing a 100k truck, except that when traveling over the years, I've cruised a few sections of trail a little rougher than game roads that weren't anticipated, but prepared for.

Thanks for the info, so the owner said powder holds up better than the anodized? I think somebody on here said the opposite

Lots of votes for the R/T Trail. Those that have them how are they? Louder than the stock Duratracs? That is the top end of my acceptable road noise threshold.

I don’t need 3 Peak SnowRating here in NC.

surprised me too because I expected the opposite, but their place is 20 miles from my house, so I drove up and talked to Jason about the wheels, to get a look colors and ring/hardware options so everything got ordered right. He was specific about it because I asked him that specifically since I was eyeing their grey anodized as a possible color as well. He said they both hold up well, but for sure the powder coat was more durable in the long run. He also said the satin black rings were better than the gloss for wearing dirt between washing. He said the biggest enemy was car wash chemicals either way.

I also go an interesting take on the Carli suspension while looking over his truck. He's a good dude and the manufacturing is meticulous. He spent over an hour with me talkin' trucks knowing I was going through the tire store for the purchase. I was a little leery about dropping the coin and if it was really worth it. I'd buy the exact same setup again in a heart beat, but as a rule, I keep vehicles for a long time so I don't look at it as expensive in the long run if you buy quality. I also liked the extra offset you get with them over the +18 Methods. Pushes the tire just a little further out.. Everything cleared great on a stock tremor suspension.
