Just bit the bullet and ordered a set of Innov8 Racing wheels for my 22' Tremor. Ended up landing on the G500 18x9 5.5" BS. Now I am trying to nail down the best tires for this thing.

Right now I am leaning towards a 35x12.50 since the truck is stock height on stock springs although a 37 is tempting and looks like they will fit, I don't know if it would make sense (37's about the same price or cheaper than a 35) (Then there is the spare storage dilemma)

Truck is primarily driven on road and although I love the look of the R/T, I do not want anything louder than the original Duratrac.

Help me pick the best tire and size! This is setup to pick one tire and one size!

Anything but a Ridge Grappler or Toyo RT. Toyo AT/MT & Falken AT/MT are my preferred tire through hundreds of thousands of miles of Highway, Dirt, Shock Tuning efforts, etc.

What's been your experience with the RGs? Had great luck with them on my F-150. Still running them on that truck.

Do you have any experience with the RT Trail?

So far my R/T trails have been good, but next set of tires will be 38’s so probably Toyota MT or the R/T Pros

Had AT3s for about 2 weeks. Great tire in the 100 mi. I drove them but wanted a more aggressive look so swapped them under Toyo’s 45 trial period. Stock size RT Trails now for about 2 months. I went back and forth between the RG and RTT when I decided I was going with a hybrid. Reviews on the RG had a lot of folks complaining about a lack of grip in the rain in pavement and tires breaking loose. Also the fact that folks say RGs get VERY loud as they wear down. Stayed with Toyo and decided on the RTTs. Absolutely love them. They’ve been great in the rain. I’d say the noise is comparable to the OG Duratracs. Maybe ever so slightly louder but I’ve got the hearing of an owl 😎

Can’t go wrong with the AT3 or RTT.

Side note, you said you have a stock ‘22 & you’re considering 37s. From everything folks say on here with MYs prior to ‘23s, 37s won’t with without modification.

Thanks for all of the info. "They" say a 37 will fit with a 5.5" BS wheel with the potential for minor trimming on the plastic trim piece on the lower part of the fender. I am leaning towards the 35X12.50 for this reason since I would hate to spend the money and have rubbing then be forced into a Carli suspension (not a bad dilemma just not ready to spend that $ yet) Plus storing a 37" spare is challenging.

I do not mind the overall height of the OEM tire but really do not like how it looks like its on Pizza cutter wheels hense the reason for going with a 18X9 G500 wheel.

With 6 votes for the 37 and 0 for the 35" tire right now, I would be very interested in people weighing in on why they chose the 37 (on stock suspension) and how they fit and ride.

I already voted for the RTT's but if there would be an option to also vote on size it'd be the 35's.

I'm on a not-Tremor that's leveled and like the looks of the smaller size and don't want/need to mess with anything bigger.

My RTT's are at around 16k now and made it through a full hunting season (MT & AZ) with flying colors though I didn't put them through anything too wild. Noise is of course more than my stock Michelin's but so far they're fine on the highway and less audible than my buddy's Trail Grappler's.

The poll allows for a tire and size vote! Great input! Thanks!

Man I’ve drooling over the innov8 wheels for ever lol now I’m stuck between the G500 and G600 also 18x9 or 20x9

I have decided to sell my Toyo RT Trails 35x12.50/18 -- they have less then 100 miles on them. Balanced out very nice, very smooth. Would have returned, but I had another shop mount them so I cannot return. I'm leaning towards 37s. Located in Colorado.

Waiting for an admin to approve my "for sale" post.

I've had 4 sets and the biggest advice I can give is to go with an anodized finish as they hold up much better. Innov8 also offers a refinish service which I used once to change color when I bough another truck and you would think they were a brand new set of wheels. Simply incredible. I will be ordering a set for my 24 Ford and trying to decide between 18 or 20's as well. I tow and really like the stability a 20" provides but I personally think an 18" looks better on a Tremor.

I went with the Machined finish with Clear Powdercoat and a black tech light ring with stainless hardware. I went back and forth between the Black or Machined finish and decided since my truck is a Platinum, it would complement all of the Chrome. Very good info on the refinishing capability!

I am running 37x11.50r17 Nitto Recon Grappler. I like them no vibrations or funny stuff. But will more than likley jump to the 38x13.50r17 Falkie ATW4 next. 37's look small now.

Thats a solid setup! Clear on machined wont show nicks like colored powder coat.

I wanted 37s primarily for the same relative proportion on 20s

I just want them in black so I think they only offer black powder coat
