Things that annoy you about your Tremor, but are how Ford intended it to be....

Did you know there was a key fob hiding place under the cup holder? I keep my fob in there all the time 24/7. I just use the external keypad to lock/unlock the doors. If I get out with it running at a store or whatever just push the bottom two buttons to lock the door after you shut it.
that is a hidding spot that is for when you are programming new key fobs or the main reason for it is when you key fob battery is died or have no battery in the fob you can still start your car.... so ANYONE can just brake the window and start your truck and drive away .... DO NOT hide you key there.... but this is my option .... i do hide a spare in my truck with no battery in it just in case but with no battery fob doesn't work and unless it in in that pocket it won't start the truck... i say hide it somewhere else.... but yes the keypad has a lock and unlock and unlock all 4 doors and open tail gate

enter pin = unlock driver door
enter pin + 3-4 = unlocks all doors
enter pin + 5-6 = opens tailgate
Hit 7-8 + 9-0 = lock all doors

One more thing.... I had to pull to the side of the road today during a total deluge of rain. High speed on the wipers is not enough. I need 40psi turbo boost on the wipers.

Try using rain-x on the windshield. I don’t even have to use the wipers once I’m going 40mph. And it’s pretty rainy here in Florid for 6 months a year (hurricane season).

i had to do rain x after the first day it was BAD.... Rain x make wipers not needed

What engineer or marketing person thought this was a good idea?

I like it. Also think that trailer blind spot monitoring is pretty interesting

Never tried it. I will pick some up.

It seems we have no rain or monsoons here in Texas. I will go months without using the wipers, and then all of a sudden wish I had 8 blades to clear the rain.

Whoops, should have been more specific, the blind spot monitoring I love, the big "blind spot radar" insignia on the light lens looks stupid and out of place. What is it there for; you buy your truck and a year from now you walk by it and go that's right I have "blind spot radar". Thank you Ford putting that there, because I would have forgotten, LOL.

1 double honk on door close with keys outside truck
2 unfinished exhaust tip

It definitely works, helps out significantly. I use to use it on my Volvo s60 GT5 and I'd be cruising the speed limit if not faster down the highway during some decent downpours whilst everyone else doing 20 under; having good tires helps also. I need to get some more. Put it on every window and mirror.

I have heard that. I have intended to check it out without the key fob in my pocket to see if it is some relay related to the proximity sensors.

If you have the 6.7, you're hearing the fan run that cools off the turbos. My raptor did the same thing. Its supposed to do that for a couple of minutes after you shut it off

I think my only real complaints about my Tremor so far are really minimal.

I just feel at times like it does too much of the work driving. The steering feels neutral, the adaptive cruise control slows down and speeds on its own to maintain distance in traffic, the windshield wipers turn on when they sense there is water on the windshield, the headlights dim when theres oncoming traffic, hell probably 3/4ths of the 6.7s gas pedal probably isn’t even needed in most situations. I know these are advancements of technology, I guess I am an old timer who enjoys driving, not just sitting in the driver’s seat as an observer/controller.

Don’t get me wrong, I am thoroughly impressed with my truck so far, it’s just there are times when I want to actually drive without spending 5 minutes activating/deactivating the different systems so it is me who is doing the actual driving. My 2 cents.
You know you can turn off the water detecting wipers right?

Transmission shift points. Im surprised that I havent read about other owners frustrations about how this 10 speed shifts. My setup is 7.4 w/4.30’s. I run in “normal” mostly and havent towed anything yet. The slippage in this transmission is frustrating and disappointing. 21st century and Ford engineers thought that this was good enough to pass on to us consumers. From what ive heard online, 5 star tuning can help. Its unfortunate that paying 70k+ apparently isnt enough to get a vehicle to perform adequately. So to get this truck to shift better, i will have to shell out for $$ and void the warranty?! Sorry, rant is over.

How many miles do you have on yours? I had the same complaint when I first got mine, but the more miles I put on it the better and smoother it seems to be getting. It still has a hiccup here and there but much better than brand new.
