Things that annoy you about your Tremor, but are how Ford intended it to be....

How many miles do you have on yours? I had the same complaint when I first got mine, but the more miles I put on it the better and smoother it seems to be getting. It still has a hiccup here and there but much better than brand new.
I got it in March and worked from home for about 3 months. As for miles, it has about 4400 miles. Im glad to hear its not just mine. I do realize its a new tranny, but still....

I have the 7.3 in mine and I just find that the transmission seems to shift better in tow/haul mode for around town driving. If I get on the highway then I leave it in normal mode. I have about 5,300 miles on mine.

Transmission shift points. Im surprised that I havent read about other owners frustrations about how this 10 speed shifts. My setup is 7.4 w/4.30’s. I run in “normal” mostly and havent towed anything yet. The slippage in this transmission is frustrating and disappointing. 21st century and Ford engineers thought that this was good enough to pass on to us consumers. From what ive heard online, 5 star tuning can help. Its unfortunate that paying 70k+ apparently isnt enough to get a vehicle to perform adequately. So to get this truck to shift better, i will have to shell out for $$ and void the warranty?! Sorry, rant is over.
I’ve noticed nothing. I love how mine shifts granted I only have 300 miles on mine.
Couldn’t stand the 6 auto in my tacoma. That auto was trash for what I wanted. The TRD Could not hold the gear I wanted to use for nothing.

Can’t say enough praise I have for my new Tremor.

I HATE HOW I CANT CHARGE MY FUCKING BATTERIES FOR MY IMPACT AND AIR COMPRESSOR.... BUT MY 2012 F150 CAN ... THE FUCKING INVERTER SUCKS .... NEED A REPLACEMENT IDEA

I don’t like not being able to use the inverter with the engine off. How much power does your charger pull? Supposed to be 400w when running. I understand the cabs are identical between 150 and super duty.

It because ford used a shitty sine Waze form and my Milwaukee charger is a smart charger and is like yea no not going to work but it works great in my f150 but yes they are off from factory you can turn them on when the truck is off with forscan ... I am looking if is possible to replace the factory one but so far it has to be separate inverter

Regarding the 10spd trans (6.7l), I am not totally thrilled with it. Drives perfectly fine around town or normal throttle application and I like the way it shifts in this application (very smooth). The fuel mileage is also excellent.

However, as soon as you add throttle especially medium to heavy throttle inputs, it does not seem to know what gear it wants. Also, If you floor it from a stop it cuts all the power and does some weird things, then all the power comes back and abruptly shifts through the gears. It could be the torque management programing, but I find it weird how it acts. Sport mode does help some, but the transmission is not smooth is these type of throttle inputs. I now have 2800 miles on it now so I doubt it will get any better.

My 2015 6.7 was definitely better, but it had it own jerky shifts under the same type of throttle applications. When I floored my '15 from a stop it would not play dead, you could feel the reduce power in the first 2 gears, however the truck accelerated quickly. Hopefully they will come out with a program update.

It’s the cheap shitty feeling armrest for me, also the paint quality in the door jams is terrible-

An update would be awesome. Why the hell would Ford put these out so “de-tuned”!!!

It's a small thing, but happens frequently....

The upfitter switches being in front of the Sunglasses / Spare Taco Storage compartment - I inadvertently flip on a switch every time I get my glasses or backup taco out of the compartment.

Ugh.

This is my first Ford and I'm really not liking the magnified passenger mirror. My field of view is less than my driver's side. It kills me because I need to search hard for the blind spot. I've learned that I have to rely on my blind-spot detector and my convex mirror. If I can swap out that mirror, I'm going to.

Ford Apps suck too. Seriously, that's the best they can do? The concept is good. The usefulness and quality is crap. That is, if one of the 13 apps is what you want. I use Stitcher but it's terrible. The apps are useless. It's just software...

upon my first tire rotation ( DIYS ) these are flimsy and a PITA.

Can't wait to burn off my stock tires and upgrade my wheels

Agree. They should flip-flop those. Glasses in back, and upfitter switches way up front.

The term is "torque management", which is programmed to limit power to protect the powertrain and help with tire wear. It is controlled by the PCM. All previous 6.7l powerstrokes 2011-19 have the ability to detune for the first 2 gears. When they came out with the 2020 version with the 10 speed I believe they increased it to the first 3 gears (Really haven't felt it in 3 gear) You can easily tell because you can feel the power surge when it gets out of those gears (It's not turbo lag either). The other manufactures have some type of torque management also.

Does anyone have a "whinning" in their steering wheel when turning either direction?? I thought this was maybe a "new car smell" type of thing that would wear off butn3700 miles its still going strong, rather annoying!!

Do you have adaptive steering?
