Things that annoy you about your Tremor, but are how Ford intended it to be....

It's these little things! Overall the trucks are great, but there are some things that make you wonder.

I strongly prefer the release handle. My wife's Odyssey was the push to release and I never liked it. Probably just a product of what I'm used to.

I think my only real complaints about my Tremor so far are really minimal.

I just feel at times like it does too much of the work driving. The steering feels neutral, the adaptive cruise control slows down and speeds on its own to maintain distance in traffic, the windshield wipers turn on when they sense there is water on the windshield, the headlights dim when theres oncoming traffic, hell probably 3/4ths of the 6.7s gas pedal probably isn’t even needed in most situations. I know these are advancements of technology, I guess I am an old timer who enjoys driving, not just sitting in the driver’s seat as an observer/controller.

Don’t get me wrong, I am thoroughly impressed with my truck so far, it’s just there are times when I want to actually drive without spending 5 minutes activating/deactivating the different systems so it is me who is doing the actual driving. My 2 cents.

I just use my foot.

One more thing.... I had to pull to the side of the road today during a total deluge of rain. High speed on the wipers is not enough. I need 40psi turbo boost on the wipers.

Next negative comment, I feel the 2wd traction control is too mild. I had uncontrollable wheel-spin from stop signs (first rain in a couple weeks on oil soaked streets), at highway entrance ramps (40-65mph) and passing at highway speeds ( 65+), yes, I am breaking the tires loose at 70mph on dry, dusty pavement. My wife's 2008 Wrangler does a great job of shutting down wheel-spin at any speed. Ford Tremor with >1000 lb/ft of torque, could take a lesson from Jeep on this. Maybe it's still the tires, or maybe programming for the 6.7's massive power capabilities?

I’ve noticed wheel spin as well.
I was wondering if the tires were playing a part in it too?
I never had that much wheel spin on my 15 F350 which was deleted and I ran a 210 HP Tyrant tune all the time. I had BFGR ko2’s 35x12.5x18’s on it.
The new truck is super peppy....very little lag.

No hook in the passenger floorboard to secure a floormat. Drives me crazy!!

Do Tremors not come with Hill Descent Control? I can’t find it.

I hate the apple car play feature The Ford system and Apple do not like each other. The Blue tooth for my I phone is fine just don't plug it in and use "carplay" or expect problems. It changed bunch of settings on my truck and caused my iPhone X to freeze and I have to restart and it had to recover files.

Also hate the XM/Sirius Replay once on you can not change XM stations and it is hard to turn off. I love my XM radio stations and don't like it when I can't switch between them.

Again all minor but little things piss me of these days. Still cameras won't work not sure if its FORScan changes or a setting that got changed when my iPhone and Sync went into battle. ( both sides lost)

Just today...4 lane road that splits at a light. I was green; in the right lane. Vehicle in the left lane stopped turning left. I am in cruise control 50mph. The truck decided I needed to brake to not get into and accident...but i Nearly caused on by the sudden brake maneuver.

It’s the trail control button above the nav screen. Operates hill decent control also.

I just realized that I wish there was an option on the fob to open the garage door so I can do the remote start or just open the door to make a quick escape!

The crooked “Tremor“ stickers. They gone!

This makes my eye twitch. A transmission that doesn't need service or fluid changes. Who would have thunk it.
Service interval on my Ford app say 150k miles... Will be having it done every 60k.
