Receiver hitches?

The 75k points came when I bought the truck. Got some "bonus" when i activated the app. Not sure how htey calculate point values with purchases. But I did use most of them up to get the hitch

My salespeople never told me I needed to activate the app to receive the points. They didn't tell me about any points at all. Now I've activated the truck 2 months later (I think you are supposed to activate within 45 days of purchase), but I needed to call Ford and they had to submit a ticket and it may be 3-4 more weeks 'til I see the points.

I am over a week now since I activated the app when I bought the truck, nothing yet, I figure I will give it another week or two at most before I start investigating, how long on average did it take for you all to get the points?

That thing is a beast. You will break the truck hitch before even flexing that thing.

I have just about 22-5/8. F-250 7.3.
Have to love the info this forum puts up
Nice to be part of it. Thank you for your post, waiting for truck and searched for what length I need for dump trailer and your spot on with model and then pics !! Thank you

I have the 5" drop and for my motorcycle trailer probably could use more so my new recommendation is get the bigger one and you can adjust it up if needed.

Yes, I have two of them. I have a F450 that has the 3" hitch, then later added a F250 with the 2.5". High quality products, I have several car trailers and the built in scale allows me to position the cars to get the correct tongue weight without the guessing.
what drop size did you get

Just picked up the Weigh Safe 6” Drop in Black Cerakote Aluminum with 3” draw bar. Wanted to be able to move my toy hauler without WDH when needed. My 2” WS hitch isn’t rated high enough and I wanted the new black aluminum. Haha.

I'm thinking of getting the black steel single ball but can't decide if i want the 6 or 8". Stock height tremor. i hear ppl keep saying they are glad they went with the 8" just in case. Makes me lean towards the B&W 7" for that happy medium, what do you think, i don't want to have to buy another 8" in the future, want just a one and done. Was hoping 6" would be fine but not sure honestly...

@Chris21667 That Gen Y hitch is crazy. Im looking at it now. But man is there a price jump for it. What made you get that/try it?

I know i defiently want the 3" so i don't have to use a reducer.

it was a amazon warehouse deal saved $100 and 2 day shipping and i wanted the pintle attachment and i been using pintle trailers alot recently and i hate using a 2 in ball with a pintle hitch .... i am used to Army truck and trailers with a full pintle hook fills the whole hook.... and i can't find that so i wanted a 2 5/16 ball with pintle attachment also this hitch the pitle attachment closes on the side of the ball and not on top of the ball and i was towing with a 10k 2 axle flatbed trailer and it was pintle hitch and had hydraulic braking and not electric and i have NEVER had TRAILER SWAP SO Bad the trailer was going side to side and up and down any time i went over 45 mph it... was using a 2 in ball with the hook closes on the top and i didn't enjoy this and i had a similar trailer same setup but has electric brakes and had no problem going 65 mph with the same hitch but when i brake the trailer is pushing up and hitting the top of the hook i wanted something i would limit the play on the pintle hitch also this had a drop for the Tremor but it looked good always heard good reviews and a guy i worked with said best hitch he has ever had ... original it is $450 i believe but amazon warehouse deal was USED but New ... box is damaged and product has scratches.... it is a Hitch it going to have scratches i don't care but it was $320 and with tax it came out to $340 or so and 2 day shipping and this HITCH IS A MONSTER!!!!!! Pretty for the Huge Tremor .... but i named the truck Blue Yeti .... but the hitch i call the car killer my F150 has claimed 18 vehicles from rear ends low speed on all but the hitch on my truck ALWAYS goes through there Radiator and they have to be towed away .... and the truck always just has a scratch nothing more

I wanted 6” so bottom setting is perfect for low trailer. If I lift the truck down the road, you can buy just the draw bar worst case.

Put in my 2.5 adapter then got a 2” adapter to fit common pieces
