$140.00 for this one doe not have the scale, but I doubt I need it for what I haul. I may get the 2" L shaped piece for my Jeep its only $60.00 then will just swap the ball parts

$140? that's a really good price! Where did you get it?

If you guys signed up for Fordpass you should have a significant amount of rewards points (75,000) that you can use at your local dealer for service and parts. I used about 60ish thousand points to "buy" my B&W hitch ($325 MSRP). So basically got a free hitch. I'd look into that option

I had intended on using those for my first 3 oil changes but I will look into that.

I initially did as well but our dealership had a lifetime oil change offer for a few hundred bucks. I bought that so my oil changes will be covered moving forward.

WOW! that would have been a no brainer. That is worth a good bit of money there.

Of course with any deal like that there is fine print. It includes oil and filter change, 4 per year for the life of my ownership of the vehicle. Extras like cabin filters, air filters, etc. are extra cost. But at $100+ a pop for oil and filter changes the program will pay for itself in 1-2 years. Any additional service charges accrue points so those points can be used later to pay for other things. So not a bad deal altogether.

Got my Weigh Safe hitch in finally. They forgot my locking pin. That makes my last 2 orders for my truck either wrong part or missing part. Good help is hard to find these days!! I added a picture for 10% off code if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the discount code! I was looking at pulling the trigger on one of these earlier today.

How do you get 75k points? I am looking at 6,784 points for spending $4600 at the dealership's aftermarket desk. Does that sound correct, or low?

I believe it's removable. It should look similar to this.

3" to 2-1/2" or 2"

So you are saying the F250 has 2 1/2" receiver and the F350 has 3" ????
unfortunately the 7.3L 350 has the 2 1/2, only the diesel gets the 3“.

How much drop is everyone running on their hitched. I’m considering the 5” but wonder if that’s too much

My F-350 6.7 with 3” receiver is running an 8” drop WS8-3 that is perfect so far.

I've been looking at the Shocker hitches. Interesting theory, makes sense. Creates a shock buffer between the truck and trailer.

A few people have recommended Air Safe receiver hitches. Similar to the Shocker but more robust. Definitely not cheap and heavy but curious if anyone has had experience with them?
