Project Black Cherry

I'm on the fence about them - I liked my KMC look better but these are a better fit being Non-Beadlock 18s with D-Rated tires vs. the Beadlocks, 17s and C-Rated Tire options.
Well, if you ever decide to sell them...;)

Well, Dan, your video with CJC and yourself driving around on and off road got me in the dog house with my wife…!!!!! 😂 so now I’m saving my pennies to purchase your system. Damn this forum is going to break me……. Great looking truck.
Looks boring to me…just saying….what goes around comes around…🤣

Come and get em' - I'll sell them... Won't be any bargain but I'm ready to throw the red ones back on :)

I'll just keep my opinions to myself from now, on...

When you get the wheels mounted on the Ram, please post a few pictures. I’ve never been a fan of blacked out wheels thinking they just disappear & don’t give the whip any personality

The OBS forged aluminum Alcoa wheel look sharp

We’re just not being nice to each other in this build thread anymore. 🤣🤣

There’s something special about the red ones which said boldly - that’s Blackcherry’s truck! I think you hit out of the ball park with that personalized touch.
I agree! The matching red wheels looked awesome on his truck. If I had gone with a red truck, I would have done the red wheels with black rings.

Sounds boring, lol - my bank account would love that build shet. I love building & improving trucks and like a unique look. the Innov8 are everywhere now so i feel like i fit into the crowd more than i did before with the red bead-locks. I can't drive stock suspension - never have, never will but that's obviously not my bag!

18x9 G400 smooth lip, 0 offset.
thats what i want, with their rock ring or heavier ring. Wanted 17s but thinking about 18s now to just so i only have to buy 4. And with the +12 offset that should be about even or just a little out past the fender right?

Just curious why buying 18s only requires you to buy four?

Depends; the rear tires are tucked in more visually the way the truck body is, so if you flush out the rear tires, the front ones will stick out past the front fenders more. If you flush out the fronts, the rears will be tucked in only slightly.

Hadn't noticed that

Stock spare is 18 so if I replace the tires on all I could get the same tires. Not that big a deal. I'd rather have 5 but at a 1000 a wheel...that was my logic anyway. Then it seemed like there were were more options for 18s in the stores

Now as I wrote it I realize the spare will never get rotated in now or with 4 new wheels so not much of a reason

That works as long as your stick with 35" tires - if you go to 37's you need 5 or if you get a flat - you have to put 37's on the front and the 35 spare in the rear - so you don't mess up the front diff - still not ideal - but will get you out of the bush, you just may have to change two tires (if your flat is on the front).

Thanks. Did not know this about the front, but makes sense about keeping front balanced rather than back

Yeah I keep going back and forth on whether I want 37s. Definitely want them but then I read @BLACKCHERRY report on the 37s catching the fender when articulated hard. Then I was thinking less rocks thrown into the paint with +12 as well. That and having to buy 37s for two vehicles.

No issues putting the 285/75s on a 9in wide wheel correct? I'll probably have to go 0 offset if I don't I'll find a great deal on 37s and be pissed.

Get some LT315/70R18's like others have (and me too, currently on order). Best bang for buck.
