Hello @BLACKCHERRY can you comment on tire and wheel set up you switched over to? And what offset is working for you? I’m looking at 0 or +12 Innov8 G600 w/ simulate some day and I can’t narrow down to 18x9 or 20x9 and also looking at these if I go with the 18s but man those hard grey anodize and the bronze anodize with the gloss lip techlite is looking good at 20”
Brand: BFGoodrich
Model: Mud-Terrain T/A KM3
Size: 37X13.50R18

I should say I’m coming from a recent change over to 17” 704 Methods , 0 offset and 37x13.5s RGs (with fully optioned front and rear 4.5 back country set up plus long travel - minus the lower steering stabilizer since they recommended not getting that) And the ride is a great improvement to What I came from, but just looking forward to something with a little future color pop than all blacked out wheels. And those are
Definitely catching my attention. Do you think a +12 with that set up would be a good fit up?

Correction - my old set up had RGs but now with my methods I went with Toyo MTs like you previously suggested as an upgrade over my hard RGs.

Put the kids to bed, strapped on the headlamp and set out for my first long night in driveway with the Tremor. Hit the LED light button in the bed to find I really didn't need the headlamp but it was nice to have to run the drain lines. Installing this by myself was... Interesting but only took about an hour. If you can't front-squat 100 awkward pounds with rails attached, I recommend having a buddy help you.

Great looking cover. I was thinking of including the factory option for the retractable cover. Curious why your went this route instead of the factory one.

I was one of the first to order a 2022. There wasn't an online configuration utility (it was still 2021). I built mine over the phone with my dealer as he had access to the back end ordering and listed options. He clearly stated they'd been running into "random" delays that were substantial on add-ons to the order. I tried to navigate those delays by omitting options i could easily handle with aftermarket products. The cover was one of those.

Love these wheels....
I'm on the fence about them - I liked my KMC look better but these are a better fit being Non-Beadlock 18s with D-Rated tires vs. the Beadlocks, 17s and C-Rated Tire options.

Ordered 4/20/2021, Estimated delivery window 8/12-8/18 - truck showed up 2 days early. I've posted it in the 2022 thread and another thread i started where I compared this fully-optioned lariat to a Base-Platinum. I ended up choosing this rig as I LOVE the Lariat Blackout package.

It came in yesterday morning and I got the call it would be ready by 3pm. I showed up in an UBER at 2:58pm to find all the salesman drooling on my new truck; it was the first 2022 they'd received.

Spec:

Sounds boring, lol - my bank account would love that build shet. I love building & improving trucks and like a unique look. the Innov8 are everywhere now so i feel like i fit into the crowd more than i did before with the red bead-locks. I can't drive stock suspension - never have, never will but that's obviously not my bag!

Those 18" G500s?

18x9 G400 smooth lip, 0 offset.

first of all.. I didn't criticize your truck not one bit nor did i say i was done with my ' Build " I told you what i've done so far. But not to worry i'll get to what i want to get to when I'm good and ready. I'm not here to keep up with the non boring whoever's or anybody else. When i'm ready to pour 6k or better in Carli parts for a 7.3 you're be the first to know. Enjoy ur new truck.

Only 1 vehicle I know of around here has Inov8 wheels but KMC, Method and Fuel are everywhere and then some

I’m trying to figure out what finish I want Vs what’s available

This is the exact wheel & look I want with the red but Colorado/Wyoming winters are harsh & automatic car washes are hell on wheels so a raw or polished finish will not work

I think that came off wrong - i said it tongue in cheek; didn't mean to offend.

Yeah, those brands are certainly more prevalent due to cost but Innov8 is making some waves in the HD market and I track it closely. I definitely don't feel I've set myself apart with these but, i guess, that wasn't the point.

The finish thing is hard - I'm with you. I went gloss black for ease of cleaning and smooth lip for the same reason. This is my Daily so i wanted simplicity.

My Ram is is a bit different - I needed the beadlocks and love the machined look so i went clear ano with gloss black rings. They are beautiful! That said, i will not be able to take it to any auto-car washes, that's for sure.

Dan, you dont feel that their designs, especially the 6 spoke ones, are a bit dated? I keep hearing that they are the best quality wheels, but i cant get past the early 2000s look:-)

I don't know that I'd call them dated - I think simple is more fitting. I am not personally a fan of the modern styling of the masses - huge wheels, fake military style, a ton of superfluous spokes with machined contrasts, etc. I like simplicity but i do agree, their designs are pretty basic. I picked the G400 as it appears to be the strongest in design by a decent margin and it's simplicity gives it a normal truck wheel look vs. other wheels that serve as more of a focal point that compliment to the overall look of the vehicle.

I can't say i love the look - i liked the aesthetics of my "Y" spoke KMC beadlocks better.

Sometimes you have to take a step back to move forward!
