Wife pushed me to do it. She has a major love affair with horses - always has since she was a child. As you know I am the farmhand, but less of a horse guy. One day she said, why don't you just make one of your dreams come true like I did for my perfect horse (she has a perfect horse). I think I must have been moaning and groaning about getting older while we were doing a barn project and needing to celebrate my midlife crisis.
No doubt I was reluctant at first - but I took the plunge after months and months of trying to find the right one. In high school I had a 325e, and later restored a 325is and sold it due to my first child being born - wanted the wife to not have to work for a bit...but I never got to really enjoy the 325is. I always lusted after the e30 M3.
It's not perfect, and that's what makes it perfect for me. I need to do some work here and there, but the body is a 9.9 out of 10. Engine was rebuilt in 2021. I need to have the cluster rebuilt (not all items are functional), work on some seals around the windows and sunroof that were not done correctly, level out the idle, and so on. I have replaced the fluids, front brake calipers (which were leaking), added 3mm spacers to the front wheels (as they hit the calipers slightly) and replaced the battery which was cooked.
Now I need to choose some sick wheels (either BBS RS or BBS LM with gold centers), add smoked lights Hella crosshair headlights, Startec rear light housings, and swap out the OEM wing for a slightly more aggressive version with the lip.
Is it a fast car? No. It's zippy, but by today's standards it is pretty powerless. With that said - it's a blast to drive and is glued to the road. I have driven a Lamborghini Huracan around and had less thumbs up and comments - this car really attracts some solid positive attention!
Cannot wait to make it my own!

I was just eyeing up an E89 Z4 the other day and thinking that may be a worthy addition. Well, once we find our house and have room to store it!
I cannot wait to hear where you land! Make sure you get enough land to justify a tractor - that worked for me. 
Great pickup. The amount of LOW KEY cool this is makes it a “sleeper” in the wow factor. Those who havnt driven one won’t truely understand the amount of fun driving experience this is. The analog feedback the driver gets is the whole thing. It’s not going to win a drag race but you might be hard pressed to find a car that makes the driver feel more “connected” to the road than this!Made a dream of mine come true.

Short and simple ,No ,it started to have some minor rust and I had already owned over quanity of 20.
