Other Rides

You sir are living the life I often look around at…

Supercharger muscle car
Jeep 392 v Bronco
UTV

Well done.

Any exhaust mods go the ZL1 besides headers? I always loved the AWE cat backs on them
Just the long tube headers into the factory NPP muffler. I actually really like the way it sounds. Not too loud and not too quiet. I have had a lot of older Camaros with very loud exhausts in the past, and decided this one was in a pretty sweet spot. Being able to open or close the NPP valves with the push of a button makes it pretty nice.

We got the wife a new ride last month. Picked it back up Wednesday night from getting a full XPel along with a ceramic coating on everything, including the wheels and brake calipers.

And on the other end of the spectrum... 😂

Just picked up this 1984 F-250 4x4. Came from a tree farm.

351w/C6. Haven't checked axles yet.

Plan is to throw some 9.00-16s on the stock steelies and maybe a small lift. Then some minor rust prevention and maybe a 4bbl carb, otherwise I'm just going to drive it the way it is. Not sure if I'll leave the headache rack on or not...

Off with it... Needs a kc light rack

On and off always wanted a nice silver Audi , but never really fit in to the lifestyle . Nov '24 found one in Atlanta, serviced by the same dealer since new. Bought with 86k, now has 109k and loving every minute ( minus adaptive cruise) of it. 2017 with 3.0L supercharged V6.

My 1966 Ford Mustang GT K code (originally a California rust free car) Bought from an older gentleman who (along with a close friend of his who was a master mechanic and avid Mustang collector with a warehouse in Watsonville, CA full of NOS Ford parts and very special Mustangs) did a rotisserie restoration completed in 1989. I used to drop by his garage to visit them during the restoration and told the owner Gaines, "one day I am going to buy this car" and he said you can't afford this car. Well as he aged and became less involved in maintaining his vehicles he offered it to me and I purchased it in early 2007. Both of these gentlemen have since passed away and I am left with some great memories of them working on this car.

Just snagged this '81 4x2 for basically nothing. It should complement the '84 I just picked up nicely.

Tags expired in 2014. Super straight body and basically zero rust that I could find. Core support, cab/bed mounts, cab corners...all looked good. Bed has some surface rust but no holes that I could see. Very clean interior. Has A/C. 300/C6. Doesn't run but turns over by hand. Someone didn't have a clue what they were doing...negative cable from the battery was connected to positive on the starter. After seeing that, I bet it won't take much to get it going again.

Bought this one with the intent to swap some of the nicer parts with my '84, get it running and flip it, but it's a lot nicer than I expected. SAS and convert or leave it 4x2?

Paid $750 for it BTW

Wow, nice pair of Bullnose Fords. I mentioned it in my intro post the other day but here’s my ‘84. Dad bought it new, I drove it in HS & college, then it sat for 25 years. It took me about a year and a half to tear it down and get it back together again. It’s a 460 with a manual 4 speed and a Dana 70 rear axle. I had to bore it 0.060” over so now it’s technically a 472. It’s pretty stock except now it’s a roller motor with a different cam and a Holley Sniper kit. Not sure it will ever be ‘done’ but I drive it around fairly regularly.

Nice truck! Which cam?

Gracias. Comp Cams 218 / 224. I left the stock manifolds on there and didn't do any head work. That's probably my biggest regret. At some point I'd like to take them off and open that end of the engine up a little bit. My main priority was just getting it back together and running again.

I get it. Had a custom y-pipe made up for my '84 knowing it was going to get chopped up before long, but I wanted to enjoy the damn truck for a while. Thinking about dropping a 408 stroker in the blue truck now instead of the white one like I was planning. If I did that, I would put a 460 in the white truck instead - does that cam have a smooth idle or pretty lopey?

I think it’s pretty smooth. I have a good video walk around but it seems to be too large to post on here.

This post almost belongs in the "I think I may have a problem" thread. 😉

SAS with a high pinion D44 would be nice.
