Fine men, all. Glad to have met them and wheeled with 'em!


Some pictures of mine from Saturday's epic adventure, where we were met with three distinct dead ends, yet recovered our spirits (not Bourbon spirits - that was later), the women with us on the trip stepped up to help spot us up, over and through some of the larger hazards. What a day.

Some of the best help came from Ro0ster's friends in the Jeep! who were both of them scouts for us later in the day but all day a real morale booster for this no0b, yours truly. Too, Ro0ster was a key figure in getting us up and around a treacherous rock after Bo and his son (Kyle? Tyler?) were a little farther alone that gnarly path (our only way out! if we did not want to go the five hours in reverse - it was getting close to sunset by this point) were WINCHING boulders out of the way uptrail.

But earlier in the day, this was our first climb:
