Milwaukee M18 18V Cordless Tire Inflator 2848

Guess i’m the only nut who buys a Dewalt bag for the Milwaukee tool🫣
I also have both and at times, I don't know which color to go with for tools.

I think they're both up and cannot go wrong with either.

I’m a big fan of red myself. I have a couple dewalt products but they are 120V. A pic from last year. It’s grown a bit since.

Another angle to cover, getting a carrying bag for the inflator and batteries.

Amazon sells a few specific ones made for the inflator, they’re not bad, but at that price point i figured why not get a slighter larger bag that will hold other tire related items i need in the truck. So i ended getting a dewalt one. It stays in the diamondback bin under the cover. In the summer i cover it with a towel to keep the contents cooler.
Good choice, now it'll be less likely to get stolen😉🤣🤣

Thanks for the link and education. I too have always wanted onboard but for $200 this is too easy.

Do you get the red one and people steal it because it looks like a Milwaukee tool. Or do you get the black one and they steal it because it looks like a possible tactical gun case 🤔🤣🤣

I’d still say get neither. A more versatile carrying bag like the one i have (it doesn't have to be a yellow dewalt😉) is still a better choice because along with the inflator one can store other tire related items like patching kit, tmps kit, etc. these dedicated cases while looking nice limit one to only the items they have designed it for: tool+2 batteries+charger.

Mine is literally tossed into my 27 gallon Lowe's bin along with the impact, impact driver, a couple racks of sockets, tow ropes, etc... 😉🤣

Exactly. Get a great deal here on M18 and then waste 1/2 as much $ on some fancy custom case…no thank you😀

Mine is in some container from sams with a couple of batteries, 1/2" extendable ratchet, torque wrench, lug socket set, recovery bag, tire repair kit, first aid kit. If I could have fit my badlands jack in there it'd gone in too.

I love boxes, bags and cases.

I’m a DeWalt guy from years ago - and now that I have so many tools and batteries, I cannot see the value is swapping. Given - I am a weekend warrior - not a tradesman.

That said - I used the Milwaukee air pump and it was MUCH slower than the ARB with my 2.5 gallon tank. It was better than the old cigarette lighters ones from the 90s.

😎

So am i. But you don’t have to swap, look through the first few pages of the thread, i detailed how a simple adapter can make use of all your dewalt batteries on a Milwaukee tool. In fact, that’s how i have been using this inflator until now without any issues.
