I'm using the JACO Lightning L2X Tire Inflator Hose Extension Self Locking Nozzle with the Milwaukee and it's a good combo.

I used my new Milwaukee compressor last weekend at Big Bend to air up from 35 to 55 PSI after we finished hitting the trails. It took about 4 minutes per tire to increase by 20 PSI. The battery was down to 2 bars after I finished. While it’s not the fastest inflator, it’s lightweight and easy to use. Just set the target air pressure, hit start, and walk away. I’ve also used it around the house several times now, and it’s been great.

The medium husky tool bag from home depot fits the compressor, charger and extra battery with no problem.

That’s awesome isnt it? Even 16 mins isn’t a big deal once in a while.

Weirdly HD messed up delivering during their last sale and after all my frustration they somehow ended up delivering 2 sets, with both deliveries left at wrong street addresses, it’s a 🤡 show…so technically i can reduce 16 to 8 minutes if i double up now:-)

These things shine in the 40-65 PSI range. 80 is no problem, but it takes a bit. You get up into that 110PSI stuff and it takes a while. Having said that I haven't used any of my other inflating devices and methods since I picked up 2 of these M18 Inflators. Definitely worth it in my book. They do struggle with target accuracy down at 25-30 PSI which is what I run in my Jeep. Takes some fiddle farting around to get it just right.

I never looked at those battery Milwaukee's as being work horses. I see 'em more for emergencies and low pressure jobs less than 60 psi. Walking out and dealing with a flat on a job or walking out in the morning kind of thing. Saves me from changing out a spare or dragging a compressor hose all over just to move something. I still like my power tank on the jeep for airing back up, and I'm putting dual ARB's w/ a tank on the new truck. Still, the Milwaukee has it's place. Just picked up this case on Amazon this morning.

Anyone thinking of getting the Milwaukee air compressor (only), it is on sale at Amazon now at $137.94 as of 3:00 am EST, this price has been going up and down from same seller! Pretty decent deal if you already have the batteries! https://www.amazon.com/Milwaukee-2848-20-M18-Inflator

That is not a sale, at all. It typically costs that much ( around 150$) on any day of the year. A sale was about a month back where you got the unit and two batteries and battery charger for about $200. With coupons and rebates it often came out to about $175$.

Well thanks for setting the record straight! Your correct, the black Friday sale was a great deal, for the people that jumped on it! That deal is History!! The one I posted is going as low as $137.00, and bouncing up to $153.00 , they are playing games saying only 2 left, price goes up! When the sell those, price goes down! I googled the compressor, and the average price is around $179.00. But thanks for your input!

The deal is still there as of today, find a Home Depot store that has both units in stock and pick it up there.
