Meanings behind Monikers (Screen-names)

I was a medic in the Army for 22yrs, everyone called me Doc. Since my last name is hard for people to pronounce, I just went by D by all my medical friends and coworkers. D0C D was already taken in MI, but D0K D was available....so, yeah.

You do realize we are now expecting similar (but better) pics with a SD Tremor, don't you?? (y):p
On the Petersen's Off-Road Magazine 2008 Ultimate Adventure they brought along a very built diesel Super Duty.

I still remember hearing the turbo spooling and seeing bellows of black smoke coming up through the trees.

That was also the first time I got to see a Sterling rear axle grenade....that happened a few times on our trip.

From back in the day CW4 as a test pilot type for Huey's and Chinooks the guy who pushed and shoved stuff around delivering aircraft for folks to go out and bring folks home,

Umm... 😬😅

Mine actually has no meaning other than my niece who was 9 yrs old at the time wanted me to be on Instagram and thought it was the way to go.
The pic from is a cartoon about a demon dog named Mr. Pickles.

I suggest the addition of an a in there to achieve the preferred pronunciation

I can count how many people have pronounced my last name right on the first try without running out of fingers. Almost everyone gets McElroy, McEnany, McElrod, etc. right no problem, but my McE name is always pronounced "mick-el" instead of "mack-el" for some reason. On the flip side, whenever I have to give my last name for someone to look up an order or reservation, etc., I have to say it and then immediately follow it up with "mce" or they'll never find it. So there it is, in all its boring glory.

Just finished all 24 pages. Great thread!

Correcting pronunciation and spelling frequently is just part of the package for tartan-havers, in my experience. 😌🤷‍♂️

Wife and I are going to try for another within the next year. If it's a boy, we're naming him Tadgh (pronounced tyg like tiger without the r). He'll be a tough one 😂

"He'll be a tough one"

Nailed it! That's the first thing that came to mind when we picked it 😂

Apparently we didn't learn when we named our last boy Colm...
