FYI 2022 Updated Production Schedule

To expand on this a little bit… it looks like almost all of the trucks with spray in liners/ outside vendor installed accessories go offsite for 1-2 days until they make the release date. I have only seen a select few with bed liners have the same production date and release date.

Congrats, that’s awesome news! If you really want to remember this day, maybe you should name your baby Vermonster. 😝 Or possibly as a middle name?😂

I got a call from a salesman at my dealership 2 weeks after I received my VIN: "I'm sorry to let you know that we still don't have a VIN, build date or ETA for your truck. Might not be until next year."
WTF?!
I let him know that I received my VIN from Ford two weeks prior and my build date was the following day. Kinda freaked me out, so I called the owner of the dealership. Is Ford pranking me? She apologized for the miscommunication and confirmed it was scheduled.
Since then, I keep them updated on the progress of my truck. 😜

Another observation in between Thursday football, carving pumpkins with our little guy and studying excel spreadsheets…

It seems that scheduled build weeks really don’t mean much. I’m sure for some of you, the build week stayed the same. I know in my case and many others, build weeks have bumped around many times. I have been tracking with cyberdman on blue oval and he has given me quite a few scheduled for production on xx/xx dates. These have bumped all around like the build weeks. Once it reached the stage of sent to plant it hasn’t moved at all. 🤞🏻

We should all be tracking the “sent to plant” day. My sent to plant day was the same day I got my window sticker. From what I know, this date can only be identified on the dealerships tracking program and also on the spreadsheet tracker. It doesn’t show up on Mach e or any other trackers that I know of. Once your build finally gets “sent to plant”, you are roughly 6-8 calendar days away from having a built truck. This seems to be very consistent.

Checking. My sis hasn't said anything to me about being off. They were laid off last week on nights. But supposed to work a full schedule this week. I'll update if I hear more. But remember, the plant doesn't run on saturday night or Sunday days.

My production week may change, and I may have missed hunting season with the truck, but this is a maaaaaaaasive step forward since hearing NOTHING for ever!!!

Rumor is worse than shut down till Monday. The rumor going on at the factory right now is that KTP will be completely shut down next week, all 3 teams/shifts. She is waiting for the official letter stating that. On top of that, the next rumor is that they will only run 2 teams the rest of the year. Each team will alternate, working 2 weeks, then be off a week.

So looks like no trucks next week at all, then reduced production rest of the year. As soon as I have definitive information, I'll pass it on.

Damn. Ordered today.
 
I hate to assume, but I imagine, if KTP does this, they will schedule appropriately. They will lose approximately 40 to 45 hours of production time per week. But they have been cutting shifts for the last 3 months, so this isn't new. I bet there have been more reduced shift weeks than full shifts in the last 6 months.

Such wonderful news, wonder when Ford will start sending out e mails pushing back build dates

Any idea how bad the parts shortages really are, sounds like other car manufacturers are having major issues also and new car production is slowing more and more instead of getting better
