In all honesty, their reasoning and my situation don’t add up. Ordered and received mytruck prior to any delays or long sits in a rail yard/delivery lot. My truck is PRE any of this. So…..based off of that, I wouldn’t think my truck should be included in the recall. Having said that, it’s already been mentioned the latter 21’s and 22’s have the pump revision that I don’t have. Additionally we now all need a software update to fix biodiesel deposits.Same boat, what’s your plan?
I was already getting ready to order a 25, this only moves the needle closer to me doing so. (Typically trade in every 4 years). But if I wasn’t, I would just play a long with the recalls and see what comes of it. I have a 10yr/125k extended warranty so it’s on their dime to fix it until then anyways. Without a warranty or the funds to buy new, I’d be doing an aftermarket fix as above. That’s likely the most reasonable thing to do.
I just want a new truck
