Forscan for 2022

How is it being blocked? Could you get around it by going through a VPN?

I just did the same. The TCM relearned but I believe I have the PCM/OBDII code still. The wrench on the dash is off with the 2770 but the CEL is still on.

GPS shows the speed matching up really nice, even to 75MPH. Afterwards it comes off a hair.

Hoping to drive about 50 miles to see if the CEL will turn off. If not, I will pull the battery for 10 minutes for a reset. Immediate clearing of the code with FORSCAN just has the CEL pop right back up.

If that does not do it, I will get reach out to local suggested Tremor member on @ZooDad's list and see if they can assist.

I tried to buy a license with my vpn on and traffic directed thru other countries to no avail. I was able to get a two month trial without any problem. I concluded that the issue is with PayPal Global which isn’t accepting payments for Forscan from anywhere. I shudder to think of any other payment venders they may be able to work with anytime in the near future.
 
I was going to do the 2 month thing, and FORScan had an update for 1 year license dated Feb 12, 2025, and a link for purchase on the FORScan web site. The link is to https://iobd.io/forscan. Cost on the 1 year was 19 euros / 20US. Start to finish was 10 minutes, including registering in the forum
 
Looking for some assistance. Maybe this isn't the right place but here goes. I have a 21 f350 lariat Tremor and i just completed my sync 4 12 in screen swap. I have everything working about 90%. What im needing help with is with the 360 camera and what the hard button controls vs the soft (on screen buttons). Currently my back up camera and 360 top view work. I can turn on front camera when not at speed and can turn bed camera on at speed. what i cant do is control any alternate cameras via the soft buttons when either the front, back or bed camera are on. hope that makes since and thank you for any help

legit or not i purchased from that website, recieved a forscan license and then proceeded to make quite a few changes the same day on my pickup (seat belts, dingers/chimes/whistles, etc)

what i'm curious is... what is the "Auto Engine Idle Shutdown"? Its in the IPC module (720-01-01). If anyone knows lemme know.

I disabled on my truck. Truck will idle until it runs out of fuel now. Before it was 30 minutes I think.

It was the link for purchase directly on the forscan site, so I would assume so. I have a particular credit card I use for purchases like that, but had no problem with it…. Which is why I shared it.
 
does anybody know what the numbers are for changing the drl brightness from full brightness to like say 75% or 50% or 25% and so on ? 2022 platinum.

@snowpatrol : I didn't see that noted on the spreadsheets. It's possible that it's part of the Plain English menus. I think @ZooDad had spoken before the spreadsheets covered items not specifically covered in Plain English or that needed both methods of changing the settings.
 
i didn't see it either, that's why i asked. i saw on the f150 forum, that the drl's could be set to different percentages.
all my drl settings in plain english just say engaged. i didn't want to change anything, so as not to screw something up.
i wish i was closer to virginia, i would bring my truck to you to do all my updates that have never been done.

Finally had a chance to get into FORscan and make some changes.
One thing I did do was add the temps over the gauges on the dash.
Can anyone advise if there is a way to add the oil pressure amount over the respective gauge on the left? My OCD is kicking in having that gauge be the only one with no numbers above it.
Also, it looks like in the plain English chart on FORscan, there is an option to enable show battery voltage. Where would this be displayed or how does it integrate into the current layout?

Unfortunately, there is no way to input numbers above the oil pressure. Hopefully in the near future!

There ius no way to provide oil pressure as Ford uses an switch for oil pressure not a pressure sensor. So IF you lost oil the pressure needs to drop below a certain value to have the alert pop up. Before you go on a rant about it, it's been that way for a LONG time. So don't expect it to change anytime soon. IF you are really needing to see oil pressure you need to use your own display and install a pressure sensor.

Battery voltage : I'm not sure where it would pop up on the screen or other menus. You could try it to see what happens.
