I’m hoping Swarfworks gets their tow hook license plate mount done soon. I don’t really like the way the plate will mount on the trail guard. I may drill holes in the middle of the plate and mount it halfway.

The license place bracket is held in place by the plastic valence so once you take It off you will have to find a way to secure it.

Your talking about the one ford gives you with the winch?

the holes in the plate line up w the outside holes on the DG. A 1/4-20 nut as a spacer behind the plate would give you a little extra relief if you were looking for it. I prefer the no-plate look, but I'm also the guy that runs without a TREMOR bed sticker. I'm probably going to add the AFTERMARKET NERF BAR above without the light tabs. Seems it would give it a nice symmetrical look with a little extra paint protection

Over for no front plate in MT. Had a magnetic one which I liked. Hid the winch but it either fell off or got stolen. Thought this might get me a pass but looks I gotta remove it to use the winch

With the 37's and a pintop suspension, I'd go low with plate. I get looked at and occasionally asked what state I'm from going through the agriculture checks on the CA/NV border. On interstate travels I'd have it on. My intent while traveling is a pair of permanent black nylon 1/4-20's mounted from behind the DG held with some locknuts, and then hold the plate on with some black wingnuts easily removeable, & I'll probably run it in the low position. Might even drill some holes mid-plate to bring it up a little higher now that I'm thinking about it.

I thought about something more permanent spring loaded, but it seemed more trouble than it's worth. I also have a couple of seriously bad ass magnets I thought to use, but it hasn't got my attention yet.

I got my trail guard today as well. The box had a lot of tape added to the ends as well as a couple of spots around the middle. Glad to see the team at Dirtcom addressed the issues with the packaging and took steps to reinforce the box.

I think anyone who is still waiting on their order won't have to worry about the packaging issues some of the early orders had.

Do you have the regular or the offset holder?

Both have tabs on the top and bottom that slot into the bumper that just need to be pressed up or down to unhook them.

The arms that stick out from the back of the bracket have barbs on them that when you slide the bracket through the slots on the bumper, it will catch and prevent it from coming out. Yours probably has two little arms on the bottom that go into two slots that are about an inch wide. If you press up on each and pull towards you, the bottom should unclip pretty easily.

I forgot how the top on that one attaches, but it should be pretty easy to figure out when you get to it. I think it just had a lip that holds it in place behind the opening in the bumper.

Just spoke to Harrison. Give him a call. Super easy going. There is the possibility that was a copy and paste email, or one batch that went out where names are automatically attached to individual emails. , and other recipients are not visible.
They had a metric shit ton of orders. Not only from here, but from lurkers that saw this thread, but aren’t members here. He said that the last ones from the GB are expected to ship in the next 10 days or so. I am in that batch.

Good luck been waiting since 6/24 for a refund on mine. They have terrible customer service. Harrison told me it would be 3-5 business days for the refund so guess I’ll go back to Visa.

I was 5/24 I think. If their timeline still holds, 10 days is middle of this week. So by the time they wrap them and ship them maybe the end of this week?
I’d encourage you to give him a call. They seem like straight shooters.

I talked to Harrison on July 1st and was told my lights would be shipped the week of the July 6th and my stage 3 bumper will be shipped the week of the 13th. I’m still waiting on the lights, so I don’t think the bumper will be shipped this week. I have UPS manager and as of today no label has been created.
