I am still waiting on the part from AlphaRex to fix my hyper flash issue. I tried their troubleshooting recommendations, but nothing worked. I had the stock halogens. @TheBlackPearl had the LEDs or projectors I believe. So his was more of a true plug-n-play. Mine is not it seems. So what's the verdict, are they worth it? Did they fix some of the issues? Not really hearing much about these right now.
I am planning on being in Somerset late next month, I doubt you want to wait that long though.Additionally, CJC Off-road has been the middleman for communication with AlphaRex. CJC has been great. No qualms with them. Issue lies with AlphaRex and their lack of proper R&D/testing to ensure these halogens would not hyper flash
If anyone in central Texas would like to check my wiring to ensure I did not do something wrong, which is a high possibility, that would be wonderful. I'll buy you your favorite beer/whiskey.
Ah, yes. I forgot you mentioned this already. I'll try it out later. ThanksI am planning on being in Somerset late next month, I doubt you want to wait that long though.
Do you have Forscan? Are you comfortable with it? I really think you need to tell the truck you changed from reg bulbs to LED in the BCM. I will hook up to my truck and see if it is an option.
Looking on Google and some FOrscan forums it does not seem that there is a setting for changing the headlight type. I will confirm when I hook up Forscan.I am planning on being in Somerset late next month, I doubt you want to wait that long though.

Well, strangely, they flicker for a few minutes while the truck is on. Once running for awhile, flickering goes away.Well, surprisingly my lights are not flashing today. Honestly, had not checked since I installed because I had been waiting for that resistor harness and not driving at night. Will give more updates. They were working as intended.
Sounds like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.Brought the headlight bulb adjustment up to the middleman (CJC Off-road) and received the following (see attached photo).
Alpharex clearly states to adjust the headlights after they have been installed per their instructions.
My thoughts exactly.Sounds like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
Sucks to see you have these repeated issues.
Horrible R&D on their part. Contemplating on sending these back and going back to my halogens.I made the mistake of being an early adopter on my 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000. Not going to make that mistake again!
Why does the end user need to be the tester?
Sorry, my frustration made me type gibberish. See attached. First picture shows the 2 separate harnesses. The left one is fine and the right is the one that has the broken plastic piece. Second picture is the broken harness. Third picture is the other connections that don't match anything on the headlights housing or stock wiring connectors. So they shipped it put together wrong? Am I understanding that part correctly? The way the one pin is broken makes me think it was installed upside down as the key is unidirectional.
Also, "3 connections with 2 of them going into one connection", is this like breakout harness? Sorry hard to understand just from what you wrote and I'm mostly just curious what this "fix" looks like.
Seems like you have more than enough reason to opt for whole new set, or get you money back here, Im guessing the latt
If you are still coming out, more than welcome to stop by and check it out. I'll treat you to some Texas BBQ and beer.I am planning on being in Somerset late next month, I doubt you want to wait that long though.
