A little puzzled by this question. Based on your profile banner, I assume your truck is a 2022 with Tremor package? If that's the case your truck has the 10R140 transmission in it.I guess my question now is can the 10R100 in the 26’ 7.3L handle the torque????
Agree. Don't think anything is new since '23That channel is AI slop from what I've seen. I wouldn't trust it.
I remember some discussions about software and possibly hardware changes made a couple years ago to help mitigate lifter issues, but I can't find any credible sources claiming there have been any changes to the 7.3 on the '25s or '26s.
According to the guy making the claim, the 2026 7.3L has "different internals to mitigate the past issues of the 7.3" and these changes will "increase reliability dramatically". Hopefully he will post the actual changes and specifics on the new internals, I am curious to know what was changed.Agree. Don't think anything is new since '23
If these claims were true they would reveal their sources. Also if this was announced by Ford all these updates would be the talk of every automotive web site. So far you can't find anything on engine updates so I'm guessing their source is unsupported internet gossip. When I stumble on one of the AI pages of any kind, I usually X out and block the page. Real information is generally announced by Ford to the industry through news releases.According to the guy making the claim, the 2026 7.3L has "different internals to mitigate the past issues of the 7.3" and these changes will "increase reliability dramatically". I completely agree with you. But figured I would let the guy who posted the information comment. He said he did his research. To come on this forum and make the claim, you would think he has proper backing. If these claims were true they would reveal their sources. First off, EVERYTHING on the internet is suspect and half of what you all post on this forum is opinion/suspect. Not all of you can agree on any one thing and never will. I have been researching this truck for several months before I placed my order with AI, Google searches, YouTube videos and reviewsI completely agree with you. How can anyone buy into the idea of "increase reliability dramatically" when the truck has been out for a few months is beyond me.
Thanks for confirming what the rest of us already knewFirst off, EVERYTHING on the internet is suspect and half of what you all post on this forum is opinion/suspect. Not all of you can agree on any one thing and never will. I have been researching this truck for several months before I placed my order with AI, Google searches, YouTube videos and reviewsMaybe some of the things I have read and seen are not 100% accurate and I am not saying that they are. I am not that gullible to all internet sources. A vehicle doesn't have to be out for an extended time period to make note of manufacturer changes. Now Reliability commentary? Absolutely agree with you that I have no proof with it being so "new" and only time will tell. Fortunately, or unfortunately, I will never know at a personal level as I trade my trucks in every two years for a new one because I get bored with what I drive. My Chevy has just turned 11K miles and I'm ready for the next toy to play with. But...I am not saying it's more reliable...the "internet" sources are. I'll end with this...if you don't like the information I post and care not to read it, please feel free to pass me by or block me as you will not hurt my feelings
I hope you have a great evening my friend and reduce your stress level a tad with a nice whiskey.

Shit- these days its dam near impossible to access in 23 statesHey, I hear there is porn on the internet....
Ford makes dozens if not hundreds of changes to superdutys over a model year. Job 2 will be a big batch of coordinated changes but weekly there are mostly transparent changes to parts. Most are not announced and would only be known by engineers and suppliers. The only sure way for 99.99%of us to know without ford telling us is looking for part changes that are not compatible with previous model years. Changing of a part number does not necessarily mean the part had a change, the compatibility is the indicator. If these claims were true they would reveal their sources. What do they call someone who plays the accordion?Hey. Have you heard this one?
The definition of a gentleman is a man who can play the bagpipes, but doesn't.
