I typically shy away from gas vs diesel as it's like topics such as 2 stroke vs 4 stroke for dirt bikes. At the end of the day choose the application that best fits your wants/needs. What works for some may not be best for you and vice versa. Funny enough for dirt bikes I prefer the 4 stroke which is more moving parts but I just ride tracks better with it.

I was initially debating diesel, as I was buying a 2500 to tow not very heavy loads but just wanted that extra "factor of safety" when towing a travel trailer. Also, having a 23 Raptor was not the best choice of a F-150 for towing. That Ecoboost would be a 4-6psi for 120 miles towing dirtbikes in a trailer along with sagging.
Chose gas as while I do drive longer distances often, I was always a fan of the 7.3 and it's potential. I can't keep anything stock, and the savings from not having a 6.7 would be burned on a whipple. Gas mileage isn't a concern for me, nor cost of fuel.
Also, while I won't be jumping this truck, like I did a Raptor, I wanted a lighter front end, and even with a whipple, still talking about 400-500lb less up front. Eventually this truck will have Carli suspension as well and see dirt
Just wanted the 4.30 gears that came standard on the gas Tremor, and the added options was a nice perk to go with a Tremor over a standard F-250.

I had also had Gen 1 Raptor supercharged, and it was a hoot on and offroad. Nothing like breaking loose at 45 MPH on 37's
