2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

Maybe this is a dumb question, is the VIN provided in the “scheduled” to be built email a production VIN or the actual VIN my truck will have? Only reason I ask is because when I ran the VIN in a generic VIN decoder, indicates a DRW when it should be a SRW.

It should be the VIN of your exact truck. I wouldn't trust any decoder websites. Wait for your window sticker. It will give you all the information you need about your truck.

I vin decoded my bronco and it came up as Eddie Bauer edition. It's really just an XLT 👍

You ever get it filled or you get pushed all the way to 2024?
Was never filled, ordered through a local dealer who is close enough in Sherman TX that gave me X-Plan pricing.

Again, nothing against Granger, but there is a very common theme on here where people order from them and trucks either do not get built or it takes well over a year. They seem to take more orders than they have allocations for.

Don’t worry. My VIN decoded to DRW and VIN says SRW like it should. Was worried dealer messed up, lol.

Not sure if switching dealers causes anything and hope you got this already but Long-McArthur stated that if you had a 2022 and a 2023 order go unscheduled, Ford is offering a $6K discount for a 2024 MY order. Program number 32262. Doesn’t say if this is on top of xplan or anything else. Info at 22:05

I wonder if this means AND meaning both years you had roll over, or if you ordered just a 2023 and it didn’t get scheduled your were eligible?

New member.... RAM no longer build dually with Gas engines. I want to switch to a Ford Super Duty Dually with 7.3 Gas. Do you guys know any dealership (preferrably in Texas) who offers discounts for build orders. For example there is a Dodge dealership in LA does offers 11% off of MSRP. I'm hoping there is one like that here.

Thanks
Planet Ford 635 in Garland will take x-plan on an order. Ask for Aaron if you go there.

Who has an 11/20 build week? Do you think Thanksgiving Plant shutdown factors into it? It seems that build weeks are when the truck is completed, so do you think all 11/20 trucks will be built before Thanksgiving? If so they should go into production in the next few days.

11/20 build week will start being sent to plant in the coming hours, with invoice issued and go into “In Production” status.
As of this evening (Sunday), the trucks coming off the end of the production line are still Pre-strike October 16 scheduled trucks.
None of the 11/13 week post strike trucks have entered the final assembly line. So unless things speed up, it will be at least 11/22 when the first 11/20 trucks roll off the line. In the next few days we will know when the trucks that went into production post strike on 11/6 enter the final assembly line. That will provide a better time line for the 11/20 week trucks.

Only half the people voted? I don’t see a new strike coming anytime soon. I’d venture to guess the ones that didn’t vote assumed it would go through, and all who didn’t want it voted no. If everyone had to vote, it would easily pass.

Can someone explain how this works? Is it based on total votes across the uaw or does each plant operate standalone…if ktp is against do they keep striking? I am clueless and proud to admit it.
I believe the results are national. At least that would make sense to me, it's all one union right? Currently the votes stand at 65% for and 35% against.

The UAW has a results spreadsheet that tally's up each chapter's results. The results are further divided in trade vs production workers. You can track results here.

So when does the UAW Ford vote close? Would be crazy if they went back into strike, I do not think much, if any, meat was left on that bone.

Welcome ti the team! Double check your dates above, i think you mean 11/6 and 11/13

Just Got modules data on post strike 11/13 build week that went into “In Production” status a week ago on 11/6 in the morning !!!!!!

So interesting sequence of events.

No Ford Pass yet.
No In Production with a date yet.

So those that are In Production, check your modules 7 days later since that seems to be the first thing that shows up.

I spent the entire days today every chance I had checking for a In Production day change. But have not checked modules since the morning.

So checking modules is the most important first indication that your truck is along final assembly line.
