2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

How long between "in production" and "built", if you know
I’m not sure any have been built that weren’t started before the strike. So hard to tell. Mine went into In Production for the first time morning of the 11/6. I’m watching Ford Pass, modules and status twice a day. If there are any the went into production post strike earlier than the 6th, they would be able to report the time frame. I’ve been told at least 7 days.

Not me. One year and one week since original order.

Original order (Granger Ford) as MY23 11-3-22 with Priority 19
Reordered as MY24 7-18-23 with Priority 03

Mine is a Platinum Tremor 6.7 with most all of the evil options. I will probably end up rolling it over to a MY25 when the order banks open for those. I should probably remind my heirs to collect the deposit back from Granger when I pass.
I am in the same exact boat.

When you say you're watching Ford Pass and Modules what are you referring to? I can see the SD in the FordPass App, but no details, will those populate when they turn on the modem? I wouldn't guess they preregistered it within the app.

We have the exact same truck, same order date same dealer. Why are you rolling it over to a MY25? Because you think you won’t get one by then ?

There's also the Motorcraft site which can also show some info. It never did for my 23 (just got a system error while it was in production).

New member.... RAM no longer build dually with Gas engines. I want to switch to a Ford Super Duty Dually with 7.3 Gas. Do you guys know any dealership (preferrably in Texas) who offers discounts for build orders. For example there is a Dodge dealership in LA does offers 11% off of MSRP. I'm hoping there is one like that here.

Thanks

Eh, it is what it is

What is everyone doing, Selling their old trucks outright or trading them in at the dealer on the new Tremors?
Had a 2019 Raptor. Sold it outright to the dealer I bought it from. Currently truckless!!! But I have the cash saved up for the new truck if it ever arrives :)

Granger Ford in Iowa offers 2% below invoice. Doesn't get better than that unless you have access to some special program through a relative or friend at Ford.

Bill Utter Ford in Denton will accept X-Plan Pricing on Orders

So will Bob Utter in Sherman, family related dealers. I ordered a 24 F350 KR 6.7HO from them 7/18 and was picked up by Ford 10/5 which tells me they had some allocations.

Finding a dealer with allocations and being lucky with constraint items is the key. I ordered a 2022 F350 Platinum from Granger 9/3/21 that was never picked up by Ford. While I do think Granger does honest business, I also believe that so many go through them for the 2% that they get many more orders than their allocations will allow.

Let's see those trades that are steadily depreciating lol

Where is yours shipping to ?
Dealer near DFW. I'm hoping it's on the shorter end of the window and closer to 12/5. I custom ordered a Mustang back in 2015 and it took ~4 weeks to arrive after build. I'm sure lots has changed since then.

You ever get it filled or you get pushed all the way to 2024?

For Ford Pass, when the cell modem goes live, the App on my phone will ask if I want to connect. Of course it also needs someone near the truck to Acknowledge it. If someone did happen to do that along the assembly line I guess we could watch the 360 view of our trucks going down the line.

The Motorcraft site gives you the factory default module parameters for your particular truck. Useful if you later replace a module. Not sure whether this module config is simply created based on your build sheet, or whether they download it from the truck to this database as it goes down the assembly like. But in any case it doesn’t seem to be available until near the end of the assembly process.

What is this module of which you speak?
