2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

What is this module of which you speak?
Basically the computer electronics in the truck. Everything from the engine control module, dashboard control module, transmission control module, etc.

These computers do their thing based on configurations. For example the dashboard module is configured based on the tire size and rear axle ratio to display the speed correctly. Transmission module also needs to know about tires and axle ratio. Our trucks are full of these modules these days. And they are all configured based on other options the trucks have.

I see many of us with Platinums, ordered in July, but still no build confirmation. You know the first one to post a build date, will be the envy of the rest of us!

Precisely why I changed my Platinum order to a Lariat, plus I wanted the BAP. Not a fan of plastic chrome.
Changed the order on 9/16, got the Lariat scheduled for 11/13 then bumped to 11/27 due to strike.

I already have a build week for my Platinum Tremor 7.3! 12/4! It's been sticking for the last couple of weeks so hopefully no more bumps.

My '24 XLT Tremor now has a window sticker showing a production date of 11/08. Last update I received was a scheduled week of 11/13.

Seeing you guys get your trucks in production is exciting - especially those whose livelihoods rely on it. Hopefully new build date emails go out tomorrow and we see some Plat or KR scheduled.
My KR was initially scheduled for 10/30 eventually was changed to pretty much all the weeks in Nov and eventually slipped to later in Dec. Now has been set at 12/7 for several weeks. Fingers crossed.

Who's gotten a "built" truck since the strike? Anyone? I feel like one guy said he did but looking through all the posts is exhausting... 😜

So my order was 7/17. I got scheduled week of 10/9. It went in production on 10/6. I got the updated window sticker of 10/31. I never received an email that it went in production. So I went and checked today randomly. Now says mine is built as of yesterday! I still cannot see window sticker through the email link. Pretty pumped!

It sounds like the trucks that are "Built" are those that were started before the Strike. AFAIK Monday was the first day that new trucks were started. I saw several people post new "in production" messages this week. All of them had 11/13 as their scheduled dates. We should see those trucks start reaching "Built" this week.

It seems like the Scheduled Week might be when it's scheduled to reach the end of the line, not be started. Which is great news because my Lariat is scheduled 11/20, so I've got my fingers crossed that it goes into production sometime in the next few days!

Good to know

Since KR was noted as ‘exhausted’ during last week’s scheduling update, I’m guessing the next time we may see any KR scheduled will be when January scheduling dates come out. Purely speculative on my part though.

We have the exact same truck, same order date same dealer. Why are you rolling it over to a MY25? Because you think you won’t get one by then ?
Being a little bit tongue in cheek here, but it would not surprise me if it does not get built as a MY24. If my truck is still not scheduled when the MY25 order banks open, I will roll it over again.

Same for me. The only hope if it isn't built would be possibly getting a 24' off the lot that one of the jerks that order multiple trucks and only plan to buy one defaults on. There are a couple 23s that I would buy configured exactly like I want but they all suffer from a deleted option...in my case the massage seats on the Platinum. Maybe 24 will be better but I remain hopeful they will eventually build some Platinums in volume.

Are you talking about the date on the Ford Vehicle Order Tracker website or on the Window Sticker? I ask because I don't see a scheduled build date anywhere on the Window Sticker. Or maybe it's only once it's build? Where is the window sticker displaying your build date? The only date I see on my window sticker is in the lower margin, below the green border, and that appears to be the current date (it displayed 11/08 when I pulled and saved the window sticker on 11/08 and that date now shows as 11/11 when I pulled it today (11/11). So that date just seems like an "As of" date.

In the box that says special order

In the box that says special order

Found it! Thanks. Threw me because it was at the end of some other numbers and didn't have slashes or anything that made the formatting look like a date.

So mine says 11/07/23. My "In Production" assigned date is 11/13. Guess we'll see as things progress this week, but maybe mine has already entered the line.

Schedule week is when it completes. Goes into In Production status a week before
How do you think that would work for those of us with 11/27 dates? Since the plant would be shut that Thursday and Friday before for thanksgiving. Feels like 11/27 would just be later in the week?

So
Schedule week is when it completes. Goes into In Production status a week before
, mine should be complete by next Thursday. Then I just have to wait for it to get from Kentucky to Columbia by rail, then down to Charleston by truck. Then get bed lined, then maybe I'll get it by muh burfday...
