How do you check modules??
I've never been able to make this site/feature work for me. It recognizes my VIN and allows me to download the file...but the file is nothing but "garbly gook" that I can't make sense of.
Also links several places on this forum.
The files won't make sense. They contain the factory module configurations. The files are used by computer software to program or reprogram your truck's computers. The takeaway here is that Ford doesn't upload the configuration files until the truck is on the final assembly line. So if there is little to no information on the module page, it means your truck is in early assembly or hasn't been started yet. If there's a lot of data, it means your build is almost complete.I've never been able to make this site/feature work for me. Is that through Ford pass or...Just Got modules data on post strike 11/13 build week that went into “In Production” status a week ago on 11/6 in the morning !!!!!!
So interesting sequence of events.
No Ford Pass yet.
No In Production with a date yet.
So those that are In Production, check your modules 7 days later since that seems to be the first thing that shows up.
I spent the entire days today every chance I had checking for a In Production day change. But have not checked modules since the morning.
So checking modules is the most important first indication that your truck is along final assembly line.
Nevermind, i see the above post nowIs that through Ford pass or...
Thanks. Mine has very little right now...so it must be early "in production". I'll check back in a day or two to see if more info/data is in thereThe files won't make sense.
