2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

Got my VIN yesterday, build scheduled week of April 24.

F350 Lariat, 6.7, Tremor, 5th wheel prep pkg, trailer tech pkg, moonroof, upfitters, spray-in box liner, carbonized grey.
Email from Ford or a different avenue to get your VIN?

I got a text from the Sales manager on my build. It is scheduled for May 1st and received VIN and order number. Ford has not sent an email or updated the website for the build.
What trim?

Someone on FB that works at KTP posted that they started working on Job 2 builds today.

those LEDs? Lariat and KR supposed to be Halogen. Maybe for job 2 some will be surprised with LED?

I’m expecting my job 2 Lariat to get built with Halogen but will be happy if it comes full LED
They're halogens, unfortunately.

Dang. well since this KR job 2 is halogen then I 100% will be getting halogen on my Lariat. At least I won’t be blindsided if and when the truck ever arrives.
Sounds like a few people are trying to get a lawsuit together to sue Ford for misrepresentation about the LEDs. We'll see if anything actually comes out of it. Highly doubtful though.

Yeah I’m no lawyer but that seems a stretch. Customer can refuse vehicle after ordering if it shows up and they don’t want to buy it.

Yeah highly doubtful. Website says Halogen with LED reverse even though order guide still says full LED. And when the trucks arrive we aren’t forced to buy them

What are people seeing from build week to delivery?

I'm scheduled week of April 24. Told expect delivery some time in June.

Does that sound right? 6-8 weeks?

That's not unheard of, that's for sure. Depends on how many vehicles are heading that way.

It looks like this point forward will be 2023.5 model year. I'm wondering if it is common for Job 2 to be considered a half model year.

as much as I dont want to defend ford for the tail light debacle, its about time theres some separation in the trucks. I love my lariat(22), I have everything a platinum has but the massaging seats. at least now, theres a reason to buy a platinum over a lariat. the headlamps are different too.

Do we (lariat ultimate bap 2022) have led taillights? I dont even know what i have vs what comes in a 2023s lariats now.

Yes you have full LED Tail lights. For 2023 Lariat and King Ranch have Halogen in the Red Portion and LED in the white reverse portion. Only Platinum and Limited have full LED tail lights for 2023

yes the 2017-2022 lariat, platinum, king ranch, and limited all had the same LED tail lamp. now to get LED tail lamp you have to get a platinum or above, also the headlights are projector instead of reflector for the platinum and limited. all lariats, and king ranch get LED reflector. I can honestly say for the first time since I bought a SD in 2019 I can see why people would buy platinum now vs lariat. in 2017-2022 there wasnt much separation in the trucks.
