2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

My ordered 7.3 Tremor Lariat Ultimate Package SAP in production last week, built 8/3, shipped 8/4. We'll see how long until I pick it up. Never dealt with this dealer before. Hopefully no funny business since they had accepted the X plan.

rail or convoy? Had to be convoy to ship that quickly, right?

Anybody know if the Dealer installed Warn Winch is delivered with the truck or is it shipped to the dealer from a different location? For those that have elected this option, and if shipped seperately did it arrive at the dealer prior to the truck and how was it apparent to the dealer that the winch was provided for a specific customer order?

I recall reading somewhere that the winch comes in a box that they place in the back seat. Probably the only way they can assure the accessory is dedicated to that vehicle rather than getting mixed in with general parts inventory going to the dealership.

Shipped separately to the parts department. At least that’s how 3 of my buddies trucks have been done. 21-22year model

Found this on Bronco 6G. The guys still waiting probably know all of this already but here it goes anyway.

I ordered a 2023 SRW 7.3L F350 Platinum back in November. This would fall under the Kentucky Truck Plant (KTP) which cuts over to 2024 production at the end of September per the schedule. On Thursday (8/3/23) I understand Ford scheduled the balance of the KTP 2023 model year production thru the week of September 25th. i.e. scheduled orders/issued the VINs

So any 2023 order thru the Kentucky Truck Plant not scheduled/issued a VIN, won’t be built. That would cover all F250s, F350s and F450s that aren’t solely the chassis cab. Anything I missed? Ford should be embarrassed about their performance. I'm not sure I can stomach starting over ordering a 2024.

I believe that this Thursday will be the final week of scheduling at KTP for all MY23 super duty. After that all MY23 move or must reorder a MY24.

That's basically what happened to me with my 2022 order. If you are 100% sure it isn't due to dealership shenanigans/incompetence then it's all on Ford. For me, I was one of a very few Granger that didn't get built last year and I trust they know their stuff. We put in my 2023 Platinum order early and I just picked it up this weekend. It was one of the June builds so I got the multi contour seats. It has been a long 20 months since I originally placed my order.

I am not sure exactly how to interpret this. Is this what it will be after the trucks that are scheduled Thursday or before the trucks that are scheduled Thursday, i.e. since it says exhausted availability of the high trims, does that mean no high trims will be scheduled this Thursday and for the rest of MY23? Or does it mean no high trims after Thursday?

Maybe I'll opt for a Denali ultimate hd. Been waiting for a limited since January of 2022.
