Wrist Watch Porn

Garmin Tactix, useful for the odd times I need a quick firing solution and dont have my Kestrel with me. I'm a huge nerd so I love all the data the Garmin captures (sleep, activity, stress, VO2 Max, altitude acclimation etc.). I have a Panerai automatic that I wore every day for nearly 5 years, but it stays at home on a watch winder except for special occasions now.

Nice Oakley's. I'm a Costa guy now 🤣

These stay on my face a little better if I'm active without needing to wear a retainer cord, but honestly prefer the glass lenses on the Costas, the 580G is slightly better contrast/clarity than Prizm and the Oakley lenses pick up scratches if you look at them wrong (and replacements cost almost as much as new pair of glasses  ). I lost my last pair of Costas carrying my daughter through some rough surf at the beach.

What you all assume I wear…

You and me both, Brother. I have never got into Rolex though. Bought a Sea Dweller a few years ago (no date) and sold it after a few months to a friend. The brand does not resonate with me. I do love me some UN. Back to the old Marine Divers, Caliber 160, San Marco, etc. Modern UN is not my cup of tea. After Rolf's passing, and Ludwig moving on, the Dream Team glory days ended. They did create some magnificent pieces though.

That thing looks badass

Here's an older shot with a couple of my wifes and before I sold the Platinum. Yes I told you I have a watch problem.
Alex, I'll take the Oyster Perpetual with diamonds for $1,000, please.

I'm gonna vote for this one as my favorite so far. It's big, bold, different, sporty yet reserved. Modern design with classic craftsmanship.

some fun pieces showing up

sorry...not tech savvy, don't know why they're sideways

I tried on that ceramic/gold 43mm Offshore at Le Brassus last summer when I visited with my Family. Very cool piece.

Here’s my collection (other than my daily Garmin Instinct).

From left to right:

1950’s Omega Seamaster. Wife calls it a grandpa watch. Well it WAS my grandpa’s watch 😆.

Seiko SRP455 special edition Monster. Wearing monster bracelet but I have the original blue rubber dive strap.

Maratac Pilot (first release) from CountyComm with a custom strap from BJ Straps

Seiko 5 iridescent orange face. Just picked up in Japan last October. JDM release with kanji date. Amazon silicone strap
