WildPeak AT4W thoughts/opinions?

I rotate every 4-5k and my trucks are always in alignment I never have uneven wear more often than not the tires are wore perfectly even just within 20k they’re shot
The go pedal syndrome. Harder you push it the faster they wear. I drive in eco mode when not towing. Dumb down the throttle.

And never run KO's on a heavy duty truck. They are great on a Tacoma but not a super duty.

I had KO3's on my 2500HD Silverado Duramax and had no complaints.

I despise BF’s would never waste my money on them, I don’t race around on the highway cruise is set at 70 in town I’m at or maybe 5 over speed limit. Our roads here in PA are shit plus I’m in hill country so maybe that’s part of it

Agree with AT, but the new HD terrains are awesome.

So what are the complaints with the AT K03...curious?
I had a good run with them on my Jeep but not the appropriate rating for our trucks. I’ve read several people saying they can’t get them balanced properly like they’re out of round from the factory.

For me it was the mileage or lack of. Maybe averaged 30k miles on a set of Ko2’s. I thought they were an all around good tire on everything except muddy conditions but I was buying a new set every freaking year

Not used them myself, but you see a lot on here of quick wearing, poor balancing, and squishy feeling when driving.

They are gold for 1/2 tons but don’t seem to be suited for our heavier vehicles.

Came stock from the factory on my 2024 Chevy 2500HD Silverado High Country...I liked them and had no complaints.

My thoughts are I’ve been recommended them by my mechanic and tire guy so I’m inclined to give them a shot.

I’m still using the Goodyear wranglers on them and they have held up quite well during the winters and backcountry driving here in Colorado.

I was specifically steered away from the KO3s because they’ll allegedly wear much quicker than the Falkens. I know that’s probably unique to the driver but I’m not going to make a big deal out of it. If the falkens are ass I’ll get rid of them 🤷‍♂️

Anyone have these yet on a stock truck with stock rims? Are they rubbing? Thanks for any feedback. 37/12.5/18 specifically.

All I can say is that I just bought the AT4W stock tire size and these tires are excellent! Bring in Florida where we get a TON of rain, they are top rated for wet weather...look aggressive...quiet...and I highly recommend. I can't go bigger because of my wife, so stuck with stock.

They rub on stock wheels.

they are awful in the snow. otherwise, they are great. balance with minimal weight and are smooth riding

I was a Toyo fan until the wild peak at3w came out. I now only run fallen tires. The art’s are the best at tire I have ran, ever, period. I’m now running the rt’s due to the heavy clay mud I travel in during deer/turkey season. They are a great tire choice also, a bit louder than the at’s. You won’t go wrong with falkenView attachment 253482View attachment 253483 tires.
Same.

I LOVE TOYO TIRES, and have loved them since my first set of z rated radials in the 90s.

I wanted Open Country at3s (again) , but they're on back order for months according to Les Schwab.

I asked about the at4w and the Micky Thompson Baja Boss... same story.

He said... how about some ridge grapplers?

I said... you know i work in the high mountains, right?

He's said. ... oh yeah, those suck in the snow, how about stepping up to the Falken R/T 01 HD.

I took one look at them and said... hell yeah!

Very, VERY, Happy.
