Still a great sniper rifle and round.
To openly post "what you have" on a public forum, legal or not is not a good idea in my mind. However, fellow Tremor's, knock yourselves out!

The Garand collecting habit can be a lot of fun. I have managed to get one of each original manufacturer.
Also look into the CMP 1911 program. You can put your paperwork in right now to get a US issue 1911. There is a deadline, so move quickly if you want another piece of history.
Nothing wrong with a .308, indeed.
A nicely zeroed .308 will do anything that needs doing on all continents except Africa. If you can only have one you would do fine with a .308.

I saw this at a local gun shop when picking up a transfer last summer..really wanted to buy it but really couldn't justify it at the time. I'd like a range report when you get around to lighting it up

I, too was 'that guy' for a while, much to my the chagrin of my wife. That was many moons ago and I've since been more judicious in stocking the gun safe

I ended up buying it from my friendly local neighborhood gun dealer. He had some come in, but there is no FFL or anything required for these. It's mostly for fun - maybe some yellow-jacket protection!
...and maybe zombies.
Oh man, I'm in love! That thing is sick! Even better that no FFL is needed.

I got the UBF model. So it will mount under the AR platform using rail.

You can use this to clear your driveway and sidewalk after it snows
URGI on m4a1 (colt), rifle match gun etc. I dry fire a lot for competitions
Nice gun, what caliber/ramp? I might have a few Hybicomp barrels laying around if you need a backup one!
