FLIR is the bomb. I’ve used some of their handheld devices in the past. Wow!

Nothing on the commercial market from Flir was worth a damn, and their customer service was even worse. Which is saying a lot.

I have a Obsidian .45 and just switch out pistons & front end cap & use it on both 9mm and 45

That being said, my Dead Air cans are in my opinion better quality and performance.

When Dead Air was still new I spent some time doing contract sales for them. Pappas is a good friend. The pic cleaning the hog is during a annual hog hunt I hosted. This was shortly after he left SilencerCo, and before he officially announced Dead Air. We had a Sandman S and L at the hunt for “testing” though. I’ve got quite a few DA cans in my safe as well a few other companies.

I do skip load it for first time shooters as a double tap during recoil is possible.

IMO the FLIR is just butt ugly. I went with ATN because of the lower price and reasonable capability. I need to see in the dark. I don't need to video record the event or stream it to my wifi.

Seems like the guns are beginning to show up at me local dealer. Picking up a Sig 320 M18 this afternoon, and my SW Hellion is due in next week.
