What’s in your gun safe?

I added a M1Garand from the CMP program. Hell of a lot of fun to shoot and I was able to hit a 24in steel target at 570 yards with just the sights.
I also added a Dan Wesson Kodiak 10mm. Its much better to shoot than a Glock 20.

Just added a new rifle striking off the 338 Lapua from my bucket list. Got a Custom McMillan Tac-338 rigged with a night force nsx 8-32x56. Also upgraded my rangefinder to a Leica Geovid 10 x 42 3200.COM binos.l to interface with my Kestrel 5700 elite weather station. Now maybe next year I Can afford some ammo lol

Yes and remember the wind is your friend. At long ranges you will/may more often than not have a different condition at the muzzle, 300, 600 and at the berm at 1k! ;)

I shoot ELR Matches, we shoot out to 3085 yards. My longest hit on steel is 3970 yards. I run a Cadex Shadow with a 34 in barrel shooting 400 grain Cutting Edge solid copper bullets. Yes I do reload and for once in my live I was smart and stocked up in 2019 so I have enough for about 5 more years of shooting!!
I also shoot 338LM, 300NM and 300wm out passed 2000 yards. Living in NW AZ I have lots of room to shot.

A couple of ELR toys , front to back 375 CT,416 B, 416 B, 33XC - now on reloading 375 also use the 400gr CEL's , brass is a bit scarce right now , Ive been necking down 408 brass - powder is real spechul , but still using powder that I stockpiled during the great famine of 2008 .....

Anybody playing the LR game I’ve got this extra sitting in my safe that’s no longer needed. New box for a deal.

Sorry just got a Zero Compromise 5X27 in June. The Vortex 6X36 is a good scope.

Have two Garands.- One from 1942 and one from 1955 (Year my dad was in service.)

You guys play a much higher-level game than I do. I just picked up an entry level 308 for deer season and placed an order for a 300 BO upper. I'm still minor leagues...

I’ve been considering throwing a ZCO 420 MPCT2 on my sons RimX build, and moving his MK5 over to one of my hunting rifles. I need to move this Razor before I do anything. It’s too heavy for anything I’d use it for now. I sold the heavy build I had bought it for when I remembered I hate heavy rifles lol 10-12 lbs is the perfect medium for me. Heavy enough to be soft enough, but light enough that I don’t mind hiking with it.

Guns are icky.

Actually, one of my very few niggles with my 2022 is that there are no rear seat overhead handles to easily bolt in an overhead rifle rack like in my previous trucks. I like a rifle within arm’s reach for the random hog or coyote or two legged varmint.

Nothing wrong with a 308! I have an old Remington model 700 my dad gave me after my first deer. It was his prior. Love it!
