What lift do yall recommend?

I don’t mean disrespect but I don’t understand the logic of spending $4500 extra on the tremor package if you’re going to replace the wheels, tires, lift and suspension anyway. That really only leaves the tremor front LSD.
I mean, I understand the tremor package is a fantastic value over the FX4, and the Carli suspensions are reportedly amazing - probably better than the tremor. But then why not just get the fx4 package if you’re going to replace everything that the tremor package includes anyway?

Trail turn assist is Tremor only. I suspect like the Raptors anti-lag, few owners know about it or use it.

I'm running the Carli signature series with every option and I've put 15k miles of fire roads on it.. not a single complaint with the suspension (those who've seen my posts know my complaints are Ford related haha). But now I'm ready for kings.

So, I'd say if you go Carli, get the Kit that will get you as close to your dream build and upgrade to E venture shocks later.

As someone on their 2nd Tremor and my current truck is on a Carli kit, I'd say the argument to get an FX4 and throw the Carli catalog at it makes a ton of sense.. and really I wouldn't try to dissuade someone from that choice.

It really just comes down to how much you value what the Tremor offers outside of what's easily replaceable. For me, the full time rear E locker and drive modes were a must (you cant get swap drive modes into a non Tremor SD, and an aftermarket E locker aint cheap).. especially coming from the Raptor world. If you've never had those, and say... drove a F150 FX4, you probably wouldn't see the value in something you never had to begin with.

S&B Filters bought OUO, I would recommend the S&B/OUO kit above all else. I'm (eventually) going to order their 2.5" Steady Track, Traction Bars, Fox HTO and...I'm undecided on airbags.

I recommend OUO because they also focus on steering characteristics and that is important to me. I've seen many people with other kits complain about hot their trucks handle/steer.

Which are you getting? The affordable or the expensive one. I am thinking of replacing the wrong Ready Lift on my 250 tremor gasssr but don’t know which to get. I only go off road every now and then. I hate the steering Th is thing has currently and am ready to go back to stock.

My opinion of the BDS is it's a solid kit for just lifting the truck but does not add any additional comfort or performance like a Carli would. I wanted 5" of lift or more and I have the 7.3 gasser and Carli does not make a gas tuned kit in their 4.5/5.5 kit or I would be running it. I do have the 2.5 Fox PE's and I have ran them on several trucks and love them. The fox 2.5 HTO's were not available when I bought mine or I would have went that route to save a little money and see what they are about. I think the HTO's will be the shock of choice for Superduty owners, stock or lifted, 2.5" shock with top out protection, Fox tune and semi affordable. I think it's Foxes answer to the 6112's. The 23'+s ride way better IMO than the previous Superduty's and BDS still is running the 17' front coil so it was a downgrade from my stock 2024 Tremor ride. Even on 18" wheels, 37's at 50 PSI all around it still does not ride as good as stock. If it did I would be stoked. It has softened up a bit after 1K miles but still not as smooth as stock, out the door it was brutal. I am going to try a spacer and the 2.5/3.5 Carli level hight springs in the gas version to get my ride back. I also ordered the Carli front sway bar that's supposed to help the ride a little bit. I skipped the BDS rear spring as it claims to keep the payload the same and if I swap I would do Deavers and Long Travel Bags. I haven't pulled the boat yet so I need to see how bad it sags. Its only has 0.75" of rake with my cover and gear in the bed.

BDS does not make the long arm kit for the 23+ Superduty's yet or I would have went that route.
BDS is always having sales and I basically bought the 2.5 PE's and got the lift kit for free.
BDS stands behind their stuff and I have always got good service and help on kits I have bought in the past. They have the best F-150 kit.
FOX owns BDS and their shocks have the best daily driver tune IMO.

Did I mention I love the Fox Performance Elite 2.5" shocks with High and Low speed dampening?

An added plus for the Tremor Package is the water fording capability with the Axle and Transfer case breather hoses are higher than the FX4 package.

You sure can, plus the labor to swap them out.... plus you can add a 2" lift, add a LSD front, etc., etc.

It's just a vinyl sticker. I got mine from Crux, they have tinted versions as well.

Another Tremor vs Non perk is in 2025 you can get the 10R140 in the 7.3 gas. Otherwise you get the 10R100.

I'm thinking about doing the Fox HTO 2.5s, but I think I'm going to do everything in 2 stages, and maybe I'll stick with the 2.0 steady valve Fox first then a 2.5 Resi down the road. Assuming you have a Tremor, that track bar will work but I personally would do the S&B. I don't know what all that apex kit entails but if you Call Dave @ S&B I'm sure he could confirm that.

To follow this up, I ordered the 2.5" standard kit, with FOX HTO 2.5s, and I added the S&B Adjustable Track Rod(Dave texted me about the order and switched out the track rod bracket that comes with the Standard kit with the one that comes with the 3.5"+ kits) and the S&B branded Coil springs. For the rear, I got the short gusset traction bars(axle wrap was pretty bad pulling my camper) and the 1/8th inch leaf spring shim kit(should give me about 1/2" of added height in the rear and soften the overall spring rate).

The front parts were delivered already and hopefully Friday I'll pick the truck up with the front portion installed, I'll likely start a new thread on it at that point.

When the rear parts get arrive/installed, I think I'll also go for a setup that my local shop has spun up to run the Carli Long Travel bags at a lower height. That will complete my "stage 1" mods. Next will likely be a set of OUO ALAs(unless the rear stuff takes longer and I do that all at once), from there(much later)...maybe try out an adjustable 2.5 resi and if TCM tuning is out and after I do 37s, perhaps I'll consider going with Carli Coils, Pathfinder shocks and full Deaver pack(circa 2027 though lmao)

Im quite happy with my BDS

The rear is just blocks, the sway bar drops and pitman drop are just solid metal, and the BDS radius arms are very nice.

New springs instead of spacers on cheaper levelling kits

I don't see the cost justification in the Carli. Just get better shocks for the BDS if you're feeling froggy.

I did not need the adjustable track bar, so I paid like $1700 for my BDS 5" lift with the low end shocks. If I waited like 3 weeks for the black friday sale I would have got the fox shocks for the same price (still a little salty about that lol)

How is the ride quality vs stock?

I'm in a 2020 with a ReadyLift 2.5" leveling kit and running 37x12.50's at 50psi. My Wife hates the rough ride and I'm not happy when I'm on the ranch easement or rough county roads.

I am looking at the BDS 3", part number 1549FPE, because they said it will keep the same ride height I'm at now, which I want. I also want it to stay level.

I do tow some decent sized loads, 17,000# and sometimes a bit more, bumper and goose.
