WARN Winch Option, Updates?

Never tried Pliney Elder, worth the hype? I like alot of the Firestone vintage stuff. I mainly fancy my self more as a tequila guy though.
Lets put it this way, every time I go down to socal I take a friend a case of pliny. They are located in my home town.

When I used to live in Buffalo we would drive to St Catherines Ontario to buy all the Molson and Labatts beers they didn't import into the USA

I wonder if this will work behind our bumper instead of the warn? ? ????:poop::poop::poop::poop:

Because he’s thirsty dummy...haha. Great quote on bootlegging.

Do we know what the actual cause of the winch delay was? I could see how it could be related to COVID closures causing delays. I'm also thinking there's a chance they tossed the winch on the pre-production model and then saw it was causing issues. I recall seeing one of the reasons Ram wasn't able to do a diesel Power Wagon was due to fitment and cooling issues caused by their winch.

Forget the Ram reason, thats been worked out forever. Who says it was a delay? Did ford say officially it would be out by a certain date?

Many people have no idea the length and the costs it takes to add something to a vehicle. Im assuming Ford always knew it would be late knowing they had to get it through epa and safety certifications. If it comes as an option on a vehicle everything needs to be signed off by the federal agencies. If its after market like jeep, its super cheap and easy.

I would be shocked if they do not take the Tremor winch knowledge and pass it to the Bronco as well. Thats where the money will be made.

i have a extra 10k lb winch that i want to install on the truck but i really just want the winch plate they are using with out the bumper being pushed out or using a aftermarket bumper but won't happened

Apparently I heard https://www.vicedesign.ca/integrated-winch-systems is in development for a hidden winch system without relocating bumper. See the mounts the make for other trucks.

but only seeing Ram ..... no Ford Sad day

like I said, I heard they're developing one. they don't have one available currently. I reached out to them to see if the rumor is real or not. I'll keep everyone updated if they need a group buy or commitment to start making them.

Patiently waiting for that Mythical Beast....and a photo....and a good beer! (luckily I have some Bourbon to tide me over.....)

I was finally able to confirm my dealer does have my KR Tremor 6.7 on order with a winch. They had a crazy time adding the winch to a 6.7. Finally they were able to have Ford manually place it on my order. Saying last week of Sept for delivery.

Trading my 2020 F350 KR. Awesome truck, hope I don’t regret Tremor package in relationship to my 5th Wheel.

Can you ask your dealership of they have a part number for it?

They won’t have a part number, but maybe an order code. My very good friend owns the dealership. They had a bear of a time adding it. Apparently you could on on the 7.3 but not 6.7. We went back and fourth first the order guy at dealership said they couldn’t order one with a diesel. I had to show him the promo video which shows on a diesel. Anyhow after a bunch of calls with Ford supposedly there was a glitch on the internal Ford site. Supposedly it’s fixed now. I’ll ask about order code. For some reason I want to say he said it was W30.

I have been looking at this forum for a while and learned a lot here. Just a note:

I called to start the process of placing my order in WA state, and the fleet dealer easily found the winch option, so it appears it is in the system now. At first he told me he doesn't think it is available, but within seconds/minutes he found it.

15W is the order code for those asking. MIne still says accepted but its not updated on my build and the dealer says "plant pending" so who knows.
