I noticed Koon's has a Tremor in stock with installed winch.

I believe so. I emailed Buckstop (in Bend, Oregon) about theirs and they said yes also.
(Dunno what the bumper has to do with air bags)
I now believe that the winch is dealer installed. The plastic panel to the right of the winch has been cut during the install and was not done very clean. Behind that panel is I believe the adaptive cruse sensor.
I wouldn't consider that professionally installed.

I said dealer installed not professionally installed. Also the power wires are run to the passenger side battery, I have seen a few other posts about that.
Which Koon’s dealership? Looked at their websites and didn’t see one with the winch installed. Never mind I found it. Thanks

Koons Baltimore, it’s still in their site. Look for the 2021 two tone. Sticker is $77135, look closely the winch is definitely there.
Thank you. I was only searching for F250s and didn’t look at the F350s. I contacted my sales guy and sent him the link to the truck. I asked him if he could get with the parts guys to figure if it can be ordered. I guess I will wait and see.
Let me know if you make any progress. I just bought my Tremor from Koons 12/26.
Oh ok. I bought mine 1/1 from Koons Baltimore. I will let you know if I hear anything back and if not I will stop by there later this week.
So I called 4 dealerships no luck. Then I called Warn and was informed that the winch was a Ford part in partnership with Warn and they did not have the part number for the winch or the mounting plate. Final call was to Ford customer service and they told me to contact a local dealer and/or Warn. So I am at a loss and am unable to get any information on the unicorn of a winch/mounting plate.

I just ordered a XLT 350 6.7 Tremor with Winch option here in Minnesota. Reading a lot of issues with dealer winch installation. Has me concerned should I contact my sales guy and have him cancel the winch option ??
Beginning to wonder if it's worth $3k. When I first heard about the winch option on the Tremor I was super excited.

I live in MN.
I have a 21 Platinum with the winch. I had Apple Autos do it in Shakopee. They tore a trim piece and who knows what else. At the end of the day it's a Ford so what do you expect?
Honestly if I were to do it all over again I would have my shop I use for my track cars do the install and pay the 300-500 in labor to them....

Wow. Nice truck! Love the silver. I got the Lithium Gray. I wanted the quad beam led lights so bad,, but I hate leather. I settled for the XLT F-350 6.7 with all the options except sunroof.
I am excited.
I actually forwarded this thread to my sales guy at Jeff Belzer Ford in New Prague.
He assured me he will have the best techs do the install and will take pics of the installation process to make sure it is done properly.
I was at least impressed with his response, will see when time comes.

My state requires a front license plate. I took the front fairlead off last night to make a plan for making a mount. I wonder if there is any interest in a plate mount. Thought about having a hand full made instead of just one.
I may be interested. On my old Duramax, I had winches both front and rear and used a tag mount from a 1993 Caprice which folds down. I mounted it upside down so it flipped up. Worked perfect. Here's a link to the article I wrote.
